Kathie Davidson:

The Lord would say to you, you say to yourself in the mirror, “I’m such a good person.” You say about the lady down the street, “Well she is such a good person.” You say about the minister in your church, “But he is such a good person.” And I want to ask you this, saith the Lord: a man came to Jesus and said “Good Master” and Jesus turned around to him and said, “Call no man good”, call no man good. Jesus said don’t even call him good; he said there is only one good and that is the Father. Now, what do you need to get to heaven? It is not being good.

God's Signs To Me

ORIGINALLY POSTED: January 15, 2009

“God's Signs To Me
 Posted: January 15, 2009

In Isaiah 38, God sent Isaiah to Hezekiah saying, "Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live." Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and prayed unto the Lord, and God sent Isaiah back to him and said I will add unto thy days fifteen years. God gave Isaiah a sign that the Lord would do the things that he had spoken. In verse 8 it says, "Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down."

In August 2004, God sent a baby dove to my patio as a sign that my son John would be born. In July 2008, I had prayed a prayer that God manifest himself to us, and he sent a baby dove, a second sign that John would be born.

In 1974, a lady that attended my bible study had been prayed for to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit in the evening. She was awakened in the morning hours and looked at her digital clock, and it said 3:33. She said, "The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost," and she began speaking in other tongues. On January 9, 2008, I awoke and looked at my digital clock in my bedroom and it said 3:33. I believed the Lord was talking to me about Terry. On the 10th, I awoke and my digital clock said 3:33 again. I knew God was talking to me about Terry.

My will is set to see God's salvation. God has never failed to perform a word that He has spoken to me about my life, nor has He failed to perform any leadings of His Spirit in my life. His leadings are as sure as his spoken words. Men walking with me have failed to believe the words that I have spoken, and God has spoken to me. They have failed to believe the leadings of the Spirit, as I told it to them. Because of their unbelief, they have not received God's blessings. Matthew 10:41 says, "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward."

*** Updated 11:35 AM ***

The reason that I say the leadings of the Spirit are as sure as the spoken word can be found in I John 2:20 "But ye have an unction (anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know all things." and in verse 27: "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."  Romans 8:6 says "...to be spiritually minded is life and peace."  This is why that I have confidence in my walk with God that I will not make a mistake, because I follow the anointing and mind the things of the Spirit.  As I walk in the Spirit I am tempted to fear, as everyone else is and I frequently hear God say, "Fear not," and I've learned to trust those two words.  When God gave Lisa to me, I heard "Fear not" very frequently, because I was afraid of the steps God had ordered me to take.

God bless you,
Doyle Davidson”

Interpretation of Tongue/Exhortation - January 20, 2017

Transcribed from:
Friday, January 20, 2017 11:00 AM Livestream Broadcast

Interpretation of tongue (tongue and interpretation given by Kathie Davidson):
America, America I’ve heard your cries and I’m going to give the gospel free course in this land; I am giving this to you for you to get yourselves ready. The gospel will have free course and I will be glorified, the world will be full of my glory and I will be glorified. The days are coming where the darkness will come but now you will have free course, walk in it, walk in the light while there is light. Rejoice in your God, follow the gospel and the Lord Jesus that I gave to you to follow and you will see my glory and my salvation in this land, saith the Father.

Exhortation – Doyle Davidson
Cheer up, cheer up, for a new thing is coming in the land. Fear not what man can do unto thee, but fear what the Lord can do. Be strong in the power of his might, don’t look right, do not look to the left. Just keep on pressing into the Kingdom, press with all of your might into the Kingdom. It’s the Lord good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Keep pressing, keep pressing hard, there’s much resistance and much tribulation to enter into the Kingdom of God. Press with all strength and faith and you will obtain what God has set before you, saith the Lord.

Doyle Davidson: Some of you don’t understand and God wants to talk to you:

Exhortation:
There is nothing wrong with this servant’s heart, mind, body, nothing, but his enemy has smitten him to the ground, my people, saith the Lord, has smitten him down to the ground like a man long time dead. He doesn’t need his eyes healed, he’s overcoming wickedness of man. I’m delivering him, delivering his soul out of prison so he can praise me. His enemies have been too great for him; so fear not the health or the state of this servant, I am with him saith the Lord and I will certainly perform what I have said to him; be strong in the Lord and the power of his might for you’re seeing, you’re seeing him delivered out of prison. You’re seeing the results, you’re seeing he is being compassed about by the righteous and you’re seeing that I’m doing bountifully to him, saith the Lord. Gird up your loins , fear not, saith the Lord.

Prophecy/Interpretation of Tongue - January 15, 2017

Prophecy - Doyle Davidson:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon you because he has anointed you to preach the gospel to the poor; look not to the right, and look not to the left and don’t be afraid of evil doers, don’t be afraid of criticism, don’t be afraid of persecution, don’t be afraid for everyone to say you’re a fool, you’re wrong, for have I not said that the apostles are fools for Christ’s sake? Gird up your loins, be strong , fear not, don’t back down, don’t pull back, the Lord has no pleasure in them that draw back to perdition, saith the Lord.

Interpretation of tongue - Doyle Davidson (tongue given by Kathie Davidson):

The Lord would say to you, gird up your loins, be a man, be a woman, do not be afraid of what people say about you; their words are just opinions. I am the only one that can judge you, no one else has any right to judge you, yea, you have no right to even judge yourself, but it’s the Lord that judges you.

Repentance of My Children

Transcribed from:
Repentance of My Children audio -  January 7, 2017

Hello I’m Doyle Davidson, servant and apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ ministering locally to the body of Christ in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas and sent by God to your house to declare unto the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to welcome everyone to this audio from my office on a Saturday morning. I woke up about 6:00 and was speaking Jesus in my heart, I don’t know how long I had been but it wasn’t long till I had to get up and pray “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…” I’ve been at that since I don’t know what time. But as I came to my office to have some coffee with a sweet roll, it came into my heart about what I taught years ago in the book of Nehemiah chapter 7.

Kathie D is going to read here in a little bit about what they did in the book of Nehemiah. Romans 15:4 says “what was written aforetime was written for our learning”. One of the apostle that Jesus appointed through me said once, said it twice, that God told him I was a modern-day Nehemiah. I don’t know if God said that or not. I’m an apostle of Jesus Christ and a prophet and appointed by God and not by me, and by the will of God certainly, and not my will.

First, I’m going to have Kathie D to read Psalm 142, huge changes are coming into my life and for the past eight years, those that have been around me, know what kind of persecution and affliction that I’ve received for my obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ but I’m coming out of this darkness and I expect to see any day. I just been doing the Lord’s will and I will continue to do so. Now Kathie D is going to read from the 7th chapter of the book of Nehemiah how the people that were with Nehemiah gave their money to the work and here’s Kathie D. Good morning.

Kathie: Good morning. Nehemiah chapter 7, beginning in verse 70:

70 And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.

71 And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pound of silver.

72 And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven priests' garments.

73 So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

So all the apostle that were appointed, and by the way, the gifts and calling of God are without repentance, so you don’t run, you don’t get away from that calling. You’re a foolish person if you do. Paul and Barnabas in the book of Acts had a discussion that wasn’t pretty but Barnabas left the work and you never hear from his again and he’s the one that brought Paul to Antioch and Barnabas was well known to the church. I do not know what happened to Barnabas. But he stood against Paul over his nephew and Paul said, “No, John Mark I believe had left the work and Paul said, “That’s it”. I don’t know if that’s the way it is with the ones that left this work, or since you didn’t believe what I taught you and you trusted in riches and not God, your heart went after, lusted after things of the world and the things of God, since most of you have don’t this, I don’t know what God’s going to do. But I must warn every one of you that have been with me, that have been begotten through my gospel throughout the world, you are my spiritual children and I am your spiritual father and always will be so certainly I can speak to you the words of God, whether you obey, or whether you not obey, I have rule over, which the Lord Jesus Christ does have the authority to tell you whatever he wants to say and he has the right to speak it through his apostle and prophet Doyle Davidson and I certainly will obey Jesus and not you. Amen.

Now, Kathie D is going to read Psalm 142, seven verses, for those of you that don’t know what she’s reading, haven’t heard of it, go to my website, for the past week, it’s been on every day, what God said to me one week ago today, December 31st.  KD:

Psalm 142:

1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

I believe that we have established that this was a prayer of David at the cave, Adullam when he had 400 men that were joined to him, ones that were broke, in debt I think it says, discontented, I’m not sure what all it says, been a long time since I’ve been able to read it, and I haven’t had any need to, but those people that were with him at the Cave of Adullam ruled every place that David was set up as king and they were with him all those years and grew up and he prayed and they were called righteous and they were also spoken that God would deal bountifully with David. Well certainly the people that were with him, God dealt bountifully as well, and the same thing has happened to me; my faith the gospel, and Jesus Christ have made many of you rich, rich. When I met you, few of you had much money at all, God has made you rich and now you think God has made you rich you can do what you want to with God’s money. Ah, sorry, for your sake, but that’s not true, not true at all.

If you would have listened to what I taught you I wouldn’t have to be saying some of the things I’m saying, but to whom much was given, much will be required. That’s in the word of God, apostles, and those that aren’t apostles. Amen. Thank God.

So, what I’m seeing is God is bringing those that have been with me for years, been taught the word of truth, the gospel of their salvation, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, all doctrine, six-principle doctrine, God is putting around me those that are righteous and they’ll walk with me; who you are, I don’t know, but if you won’t walk, you’ll be cut out, simple as that.

This is not a game folks. I didn’t leave my position in the flesh, forty-six years ago to end up being just a preacher on a corner lot in some city. Now I can see what my calling is, what’s going to happen and believe me, after eight years in darkness I’m looking forward to these days that are here. Thank God.

In the book of Philippians is talks about giving and Paul writes, and I am an apostle like Paul and with his revelation, and it’s not that I desire your money but I desire that you have fruit in your account.

In 2 Corinthians 8 it tells us very clear that the Lord would not want one burdened and another one eased. My friends, my children, in the Lord, you have lusted and coveted after thing that you must repent of now, coveting money, coveting things, houses, retirements, what have you and not the gospel, you must repent now. Ephesians 5: you cannot enter in to the Kingdom of God with all the things you’ve lusted after.

In 1 Corinthians 5, I believe it is, it gives a list of people that you shouldn’t company with and believe one of them is a railer, I might be wrong, that might be in 1 Corinthians 6. Railers. Well how many of you have railed against me? I’m talking about people that are my children. How many of you have railed against me? How many of you have lied about me? Friends you’ve got trouble right in front of you. You don’t want to go to hell. Hell is an ugly place and it’s prepared for the wicked. The wicked being people that won’t obey God, won’t believe on Jesus, believe the gospel, thank God, amen, thank God.

Well, at the moment, I do not have anything else in my heart, in my spirit, if I do, I’ll do another audio.

Love all of you, God bless you,
Doyle Davidson from his office in Plano, Texas

See you next time.

Receiving the Gift of Righteousness

Transcribed and edited from:
Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 11:00 AM Livestream Broadcast

Hello, I’m Doyle Davidson servant and apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ ministering locally to the Body of Christ in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas and sent by God to your house to declare unto you the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 tell us what the gospel is, how that Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the scripture, he was buried, he rose again the third day, according to the scripture.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, sent me to heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, set at liberty them that are bruised.

The word is nigh thee, even in your heart, in your mouth, that is the word of faith which I preach, if you’ll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead you shall be saved, for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, the just shall live by his faith.

I want to welcome everyone to this broadcast, receiving it on livestream Roku, AppleTV, YouTube and other devices.

Kathie Davidson, co-host to my left, good morning. [Kathie: Good morning] And are you ready? [Kathie: Yes] We’ve got an interesting program, but first we’ve got Terry Mai with two songs, “Rise and Be Healed” and “I Am, You Said To Me” and then we’ll introduce Terre Brown with her song after we read Ezekiel 36. Are we ready? Terry’s songs:

Thank God. We have Terre Brown coming, going to minister a song, she’s strong in faith and strong in spirit. But first Kathie D is going to read Ezekiel 36:

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Those are great promises, promised through the prophet Ezekiel, what God was going to do when Jesus came and that’s exactly what he did and he’s changed my heart, Kathie D’s heart, Terre Brown’s heart, now Terre’s going to minister a song, “God On The Mountain”, Terre Brown.

I want to recommend to everyone that seriously wants to follow Jesus; if you want to play games, do what you’re doing; but if you want to follow Jesus, take up your cross daily and follow Jesus, you’ll hear his voice, you’ll know his voice, read the book of Romans, all sixteen chapters, aloud as many times as you can read it. When you get tired reading it maybe God is talking to you. But Romans is where I started. Argyle, 1972, I spent ten weeks in the Holiday Inn, trying to buy some property to live on but God wanted me to get some word in the book of Romans. I finally reduced it down to the first five chapters actually, two, three, four and five, but one was extremely beneficial, “when they knew God, when they knew God, they would not glorify him as God,) Romans 4, believing, and were not thankful, then he turned them over to some wicked works and they practiced it. I’ve got Kathie D going to read scripture out of Acts 13.

Kathie: If I can say something also here, back in the late eighties, God did the same thing with me. I know because of my children, but he put my out in Frisco, there was nobody around us at that time, there were no homes around us, we were the only house within five lots on both sides, I couldn’t call Plano, it was long distance, put me out by myself and my husband at that time was working day and night so he was hardly home, I had two small children. I spent months doing the same thing, reading Romans, first like I said, I started reading the whole book, then went down to eight, then toward the last, 3,4 and 5, 3, 4 and 5, 3, 4 and 5 and everyday like I told you this morning was like a gut-wrencher, but it was glorious and when I was finished I understood the gospel.

Amen. Well how about, are you ready to read?

Acts 13:

8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Do you know that’s what God does with false prophets that try to turn people that walk with me, from the faith? I’ve walked by faith all these forty-six years and people don’t know what faith is, they don’t believe, they don’t have the heart. I’ve watched God deal with some people. You know I knew one person that railed against me and this happened to be a woman and she said this herself, that she broke her arm because she railed against me. Well that woman has left my ministry; foolishly went after money, after money. I had the faith to get that family started, I imparted spiritual gifts to them, faith to them. They got very well off, made good money then departed from the living God because of their pride.

So, do you want to give the definition of those words?

Kathie: Right, if we go back to verse 10, this is Paul speaking: O full of all subtilty and all mischief, that [word] subtilty: lure, a snare, hence a craft, a deceit, a guile, a lure, a snare.

A lure and a snare?

Kathie: Right, deceit, guile, lies. And then mischief: unscrupulous. [Doyle: Unscrupulous, yes?] In other words, do dishonest things, things that aren’t right, illegal things, doesn’t bother you at all.

That’s right, no conscience.

Kathie; Right. It also means to be cunning, the same thing. And then it says: “…will thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord…” and that pervert, if you look it up, it means to distort, twist it, and it says to oppose or plot against the saving purposes and the plans of God.

Amen, that’s a false person. [Kathie; Right.] False prophet, Elymas. You know in those days they dealt with false prophets, they dealt with people that were unbelievers. Today, you can scarcely find anybody that will believe. They like to be religious. You know, religion, I couldn’t stand, that’s a blessing from God. I could see phony people; that was the wisdom of God in me, the wisdom being Jesus. I could tell somebody that were conning, that was discernment in my heart, it’s amazing how God made my heart. He told me in the seventies he didn’t have anyone except myself to do this job. I said, “Well, if I’m the only thing you’ve got, you are out of subject matter. You need to understand if you don’t have anything but me, you don’t have anything.” Well, he let me know he could change me.

I marvel at what God has done in my life. You know I had over 200 hours university level in science and veterinary medicine. But walk and be a preacher, not me, I didn’t want that. But in 1958, University of Missouri, Columbia campus I believe it was August 1st, rotating the tires on my car, just finished all and was putting the last hubcap on and amazing, the Spirit of God fell upon me, fell upon me and the first thing I started saying, praying, “Lord don’t take me to hell or don’t send me to hell, don’t send me to hell.” I really attribute that to when my Dad was seventeen he had appendicitis and was very sick and God took him and showed him hell, three times, took him down and showed him hell and Dad saw people there he knew. It scared him and he’d tell me that story and I didn’t want to hear it but it got in my heart, it got in my heart.

You know Terre Brown tells a story, a testimony, I believe it was 2009 God took her, she’s a church-goer, Water of Life but God took her and started talking to her and brought her to repentance of her sins, long past, religious sins, unbelief taught by theologians and the one thing Terre shared with me was, she was afraid God would send her to hell. She had that in her heart, thank God. And if…I can minster fear to your heart of going to hell, I want to.

Kathie; You know that happened to me not long after I got to Plano. [Doyle: Yes] Remember God was dealing with me and I remember at one point thinking, “Am I even going to come out of this, am I going to survive? Am I going to hell? [Doyle: Right] Those are scary days.

There’s a hell.

Kathie: There is a hell.

And it’s where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched.

Kathie: And it is forever.

It’s torment, eternal torment, day and night, you can never get rest, be tormented throughout eternity. Kathie D spoke yesterday of Lazarus and the rich man; and the rich man was in hell and he’s tormented. And I believe he wanted Lazarus to bring a drink of water.

Kathie: He said, “Just touch the end of my tongue, because I’m tormented in this flame.”
Tormented, eternal torment, fire, brimstone. Hell was created for the devil. You can find that in the book of Isaiah, but men like to follow the devil. I tell you I had a fear of God. I could see through religious people, they couldn’t deceive me. Once my Dad had an employee, several of them. Once I said to a man, “What do you think about divorce?” He went to Redwood Church.

“Oh, used to oppose it, until my son got a divorce, now I don’t have an opinion.”

I thought, “Well you don’t stand for anything.”

If you’d let your child direct what you believe, you have no courage, none at all.

I heard another one once say: “If I wasn’t afraid I’d lose my salvation I’d kill this guy.” [Kathie: He’d already lost it] There you go.

So you see I heard those hypocrites, my heart was honest, besides I was raised reading the new testament a lot. I was raised on the Proverbs. My mother used get myself, oldest sister and then the middle one Betty, and she’d say, “Alright it’s time to read your proverb for the day; we’d get it, read it. I have to admit, mine disappointed me most of the time.

Kathie: I remember those little bread things. My girlfriend’s parents had one that you pulled the Proverbs out of.

I wanted them to give me something that God didn’t want me to have.

So, I just want to encourage you, now while you’re young or a hundred, believe my gospel, believe my gospel.

I was surprised that God ordained me to preach the gospel before I came forth from my mother’s womb. I was totally surprised but obviously he did; that’s why my father, Lyle Luther Davidson was always telling me, “You’ll have to preach the gospel, Doyle. You’re going to have to preach the gospel.”

I didn’t have a clue what was in front of me, growing up as a young man in the US Navy, four years, hospital corpsman, university, six years; had my own practice of veterinary medicine the second year I was out of school. I worked one year for Derryberry-King Clinic in McKinney (1963) great friends of mine, another year I did practice [in] Tennessee, Missouri, without an office (1962). But in 1964 I bought 3-1/2 acres of land; I was blessed greatly in the horse business as an equine practitioner. I started with my own practice with Carl Miles, an oil man from Abilene, a great friend of mine. He owned, along with Harvey Frugal, three ranches. One: in Celina, two: in Stephenville, three: Abilene, Cee Bar Ranches. Three hundred brood mares, six stallions, that’s what I started out with, that was God, because God said, “You’ve only got seven years of this.” I didn’t know that, but I was pretty aware of it.

In 1969, “Sell it!” I did, I had a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, one of the nicest, large animal surgery facilities, had a large animal surgery table, I could put anything on it, secure it, do surgery on it. I was well respected by colleagues and many clients. In 1969 God said, fun’s over, “sell your hospital and practice and obey me.” I did. I did and for ten years I studied the word, 1970 through 1980.

I preached the gospel starting in 1972 in my home, in 1973 in the Methodist Church on Saturday for six months, home bible studies I’ve taught, 1977 [I was a] lay speaker [in the] First United Methodist Church in McKinney, 1978, 1979, 1980, also taught Sunday School 1977 and 1978. [I was the] president of the Fellowship class in 1978 and 1979. God elevated me, blessed me quickly. Dr. Canafax told Terry Mai, my son-in-law what amazed him about me, I was self-taught. I said, “No, no I was not self-taught, God taught me.” It says that in, [Kathie: The comforter will come and he’ll do the teaching.]

Well, I never expected to be where I’m at but today I just finished eight years where my eyesight was suddenly and greatly impaired, starting in December 2008. By June 2009 I couldn’t see to drive, but I’ve worked- KD got a tablet and put the bible on the tablet and the Constitution and other things and I read on that until January 2013. Kathie D read to me Daniel 11:20-28 and I said, “I believe this is the United States of America.”

Kathie: The last thing you read on your tablet was Daniel 11:20-28. [Doyle: That’s what you said.] We left to go to Navasota and within hours your eyesight was gone.

Well, you know it’s not been fun, it’s been humbling, it’s been scary; I get lost in my own house, in this building where I’m speaking, amazing. But this past year, 2016, I don’t know when, a few months back, things started changing for me. I could see images of automobiles crossing at stop lights, at stop signs. But now I’m more excited, I can see a car coming at me, in a car, not driving. It doesn’t look like two motorcycles side by side. I can see this headlight, something between it and that headlight. That something is dense, that’s why I can see it, it’s more dense than the dark, that’s why I can see it; but I got excited, just a couple, three days ago, few days. KD read Psalm 142 to me. She’s going to do it now.

The first thing that I saw, got a revelation of it, when KD read it to me, thou knewest my path, I said “Well, you are with me in this darkness.” Now that only happened [Kathie: A couple months ago] encouraged me, the Lord knew where I was at. Look folks this is not a cake-walk, this will check out your heart and soul, but I believed the gospel. But let me tell you what kept me going: Jesus got his eyesight back and Paul got his back, in the book of Galatians. I said, “Ok, Jesus preached the gospel, Paul preached the gospel, I preach the gospel, I’m going to see. And then very shortly after that I started talking, no, not true, I’ve talked that way a long time, I believed that way, I didn’t talk that way, I couldn’t talk much.

But a few months back, a couple, I think it was November, that’s not but two, I saw a big angel, ten days later I saw another big angel. Well I guess it might not have been earlier than that, but you know what on the third of November, God gave me a night vision that Kathie D was the mother of John D, a son coming out of my loins. I had a night vision, God told me, I’m glad it was a night vision, let me tell you I am, it was the first one I ever had. There wasn’t anything to go astray on it. I remember in that night vision, I’m asleep, and the Lord said “Kathie is the mother of John”, I said, “Ok”. He said it again, “Kathie is the mother of John.” I said, “Ok, ok, that’s good.” Now that’s Doyle Davidson, most of the time. Next morning I told KD about it, Kathie, and that afternoon I was setting with her at the table in the kitchen, talking and all of a sudden here stands an image of Kathie and here’s an image of Doyle and here’s Doyle looking at them. That [was]freaky, and as I sat there and Kathie is somewhere across the table, right? [Kathie: right] as I set there, I thought, “Well that makes sense, she’s a Mayflower descendant and I’m a Rhode Island Founder descendant. But a few days back, well it was Saturday, I was talking, right? Or did you read, 142, to me.

[Kathie: I think it was Thursday we were setting on the bed and I read it to you.]

Right, but then Saturday, something happened.

[Kathie: You spoke it, you started talking about it on the set]

Oh, that’s it, right.

[Kathie: And you started getting excited about the righteous being around you.

Oh, did I ever. Look that was Thursday, the righteous. But Saturday, it came about the righteous compassing me and they reign and rule through the gift of righteousness and I believe the Saturday meeting was when I said this going to take place in Plano,

Kathie; Yes, it was that morning you started talking about it.

Yes, in Plano, Oh, I’m going to get to drive again. Well, when you have driven as many years and many miles as I’ve driven, driving is a big deal to you. I used to drive sixty-five thousand miles a year. Thank God, and then more. But I got excited. Compass me with the righteous. Then Kathie read to me the 5th chapter verse 17 of the book of Romans, right? [Kathie: Right] Would you like read that now? [Kathie: Sure will] We had some help from the audience, Terre Brown found it for me.

Kathie: Ok, Romans 5:17:

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

The gift of righteousness. Yesterday I spoke very cautiously about the gift of righteousness, well today it’s not cautious. I can tell my spirit its ok the Lord saying, “You’re ok, go on.” First, to get the gift of righteousness you’ve got to be born again. You’ve got to be saved, same thing.

Kathie: Which means you have to have Jesus in you.

Jesus in your heart. Right. But I want to back up, that verse “compassed by the righteous” and “God shall deal bountifully with me,” oh, both of them, now I’m excited. I know I’m going to see, I’m going to be ministering among the righteous to the world, I’m going to be dealt bountifully, by God, that I see Haggai 2,

the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former house. The latter, the body of Christ, the former, Solomon, his temple, Thank God, I got as excited as I can get. I want to tell you something, what’s in me right now is not excitement nor any direct things, or specific things, but the joy of the Lord.

Alright now, first you’ve got to be saved, born again; second, you have to have all your sins forgiven. Oh yes, and purged by the blood of Jesus and redeemed by the blood of Jesus, justified by the blood of Jesus, Acts 26, you’re going to have to have your eyes opened first, second you’re going to have to be turned from darkness to light, third you’re going to have to be turned from the power of Satan unto God, next receive forgiveness of your sins, what’s left, next ministered the inheritance among the sanctified ones, that is brought forth by the faith of Jesus Christ that is in me that the Lord has put there, that I’ve experienced and walked in all these years and then the gift of righteousness will be imparted to your heart and you can reign and rule in this life through Christ Jesus.

You see, Ephesians 4 says that you’re going to have to have an apostle, a prophet, a teacher, a pastor and an evangelist that minister those ministries to perfect the saints for the work of the ministry to edify the body of Christ, build it up. That’s where I’m at, others are coming.

There’s no other name under heaven whereby one must be saved, just one, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Just one, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to be born again or saved or one with Jesus and the Lord has already put faith and grace in your heart to be saved, born again, say it after to me and be saved, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…

Ruling and Reigning Through the Gift of Righteousness in Plano

Transcribed from:
Monday Jan. 2, 2017 11:00 AM Livestream Program

The word is nigh thee, even in your heart and in your mouth, that is the word of faith which I preach, if you’ll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead you shall be saved, for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, the just shall live by his faith.

I want to welcome everyone receiving this on livestream Roku, AppleTV, YouTube and other devices.

Kathie Davidson, my co-host, good morning. [Kathie: Good morning] And are you ready? [Kathie: Yes I am] Well, I am too, but we need to have a couple songs, recorded by Terry Mai and Water of Life Boys. By the way, Terry Mai went to heaven in 2009, but he left me his songs. And after that we’ll have Terre Brown, we’ll introduce her and then we’ll have Ezekiel 36 and then we’ll proceed.

“Only The Redeemed”
 “I Saw The Lord”

Praise God. Terre Brown is coming to do a song but first let’s have Kathie read Ezekiel 36, three verses:

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

I believe Hebrews 10 talks about washed with the water of the word, that water is the gospel, it’s got power and along with it the blood of Jesus works. God has been working in my heart since 1970, he’s done a lot of changes in it, still working. He’s worked in Kathie D’s heart, she arrived here in 1984 and she heard the gospel. God had told her he was sending her to a place where she could be taught?

Kathie: Where I would learn how to follow him.

How to follow the Lord. Terre Brown came here in 1985 and she heard the gospel by the power of God, the gospel, the kingdom, the first time she had ever heard it preached by the kingdom. Today she’s going to do a song, “Who Am I?”

In 1972 about October, maybe September, a man was riding with a preacher in his car. That preacher was the pastor of Argyle United Methodist Church and he was counseling this guy and the guy took his hand and hit the preacher’s dash and broke it; it was a Chevette. He takes this guy to his wife and said, “Take this man to this veterinarian over here, he thinks he can do anything.” I don’t know where he got that idea, but this man came and his name was Butch and he did have a temper, he did have some devils and I worked with him—see him many times in a week. Wake up in the morning at 8:00, he and his wife would be sitting on the back porch waiting to talk to us. Once I spent all day with them and they go home and she gets upset at him and throws a skillet at him. That’s the way Doyle Davidson Ministries got launched. You never heard all that have you? You probably have. [Kathie: Ya]

Well, thank God, just a few days after that I started a bible study in my home preaching the gospel and I’ve been preaching it ever since. On the 31st of December, 2016 God blessed me in a tremendous way. I think I want you to read Psalm 142. [Kathie: I sure will] I think I’ve got this in perspective.

I’d asked KD to read that Psalm to me where it talks about “…when his spirit was overwhelmed in him, the Lord knew his path…” and she read it to me, but she read on, I asked her to and when she finished I said, “What does that say?” Compassed by the righteous? And God shall deal bountifully with me? That was the most encouraging thing I had heard in eight years. Do we have that about right? Yes it says, “The righteous shall compass me about for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.”

Do you remember what day you read that to me? [Kathie: It might have been the 31st] No. [Kathie: the 30th?] One more. [Kathie: 29th?] Wasn’t it on Thursday? [Kathie: I don’t remember] I think it was on Thursday and Saturday was the 31st. [Kathie: Right.] You read it that day [Saturday], re-read it, but you had read it before. But then the Lord did something that just lit my heart up. Romans 5:17, would you read it? [Kathie: Sure will]

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

My heart was just full of power when that verse came to me. I didn’t know where it was at, but righteousness, when the Lord speaks, you better listen, you better hear what he’s saying, he said, “he was going to compass me about with righteous people and deal bountifully with me through the gift of righteousness.” Oh, I haven’t settle down since. I said on that program, we can prove what day it was, on Thursday or Friday, I’m sure it will be posted very shortly what day it was. I was beside myself and I said, “God was going to have the righteous in Plano—Plano, Texas, they are going to surround me, be about me.”

Kathie: Wasn’t it the NIV that said they would gather around me? “…the righteous would gather around me.”

“About,” wasn’t it? [Kathie: ya, about] I think that’s what you told me. [Kathie: right]

I tell you folks, you can’t stop me; I’ve been in Plano, since 1980, arrived here in August and spoke on Sunday at Faith Temple, which later became a part of Water of Life Church of Plano, Inc. All their assets were given to Seed of Abraham Ministries, also Water of Life Church of Plano, Inc. that was November 24th. We moved into this building the 4th day of January 1981. I had been working a couple months, three or four, trying to buy this property and we moved in the 4th day of January. Man, righteous compass about me, about KD, about Terre, about all of you. Gift of righteousness—free gift, free gift of righteousness.

I recall when I was trying to understand the difference in justification and righteousness, your gonna hear about my studies. Well, they are very similar, but you know what? Justification is by the gospel, the blood of Jesus. Did you know righteousness is a gift? It’s very close to justification, but it’s a gift. A gift! One day I was going to Louisville, Texas to treat a horse. For those of you that don’t know it, I used to be a veterinarian in north Texas and I had got a hold of righteousness and I said 500 times, driving to Louisville, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,” I sowed that word in my heart, it had to help. I don’t recommend it but God’s leads you.

Folks, I’ve taught for years in this city, the glory of the latter house, shall be greater than the former house, from the first time I arrived here in August of 1980 in this city. Spoke in a school over here, I think it’s a school. That you find where, in Haggai? [Kathie: Shall I go there?] Let’s read it. [Kathie: That means I have to find Haggai]

Look, I’m causing you to hang loose, God is. This man is excited. But It talks about the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former, the former was Solomon’s. This one, the Lord Jesus’.

Haggai 2:

8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

Is that something? [Kathie: Ya] And the Lord said to me and you, all of us, we would reign through the gift of righteousness in Plano—Plano, Texas.

Kathie: Amen. And we already do. I know we do.

Tell them about it. Kathie: Ya, that’s why Plano is so blessed. In one magazine [it says] it’s the number one city to live in, in Texas, the number three city in the United States and in another magazine, it’s the seventh city to live in, in the United States, best city to live in, in the United States. We have the least amount of crime in the state of Texas, the list goes on and on and on, about the accolades of the neighborhoods in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; the neighborhood we live in is one of the safest and quiet in Dallas and Fort Worth area, like I said, there are accolades and accolades about this city, in just the last year.

You know Proverbs 14 say, “righteousness exalts a nation, sins a reproach to any people.” We preach the gospel with the righteousness of God revealed. We’ve been doing it since 1980 in this city.

Kathie: And this city went from being not recognized at all the where it is recognized now and it’s also one of the best places for employment. [Doyle: Right] And it’s because of the righteousness of the gospel.

Righteousness exalteth a nation. That’s why Plano is where it’s at—is the gospel that’s been preached in this city since 1980.

Proverbs 14:

34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

And Romans 1:16 “righteousness is revealed in the gospel” Look folks, you can preach the word, that’s not the gospel. The gospel is “how that Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the scripture, he was buried and he rose again the third day, according to the scripture,” 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, I just quoted 3 and 4.

Kathie: You know like you said earlier, the justification and the righteousness, justification, you can’t do justification [Doyle: No] it’s like you said, by faith, but I remember one of the first verses you taught me about righteousness, he that doeth righteousness, is righteous. [Doyle: Right] So righteousness is something you do.

I think I’m safe, been a long time since I taught all this, but justification is through the gospel and the blood of Jesus, right? [Kathie: Right] Righteousness is a free gift. [Kathie: But it comes through the gospel] Oh yes.

Kathie: But it’s something...he that doeth righteousness is righteous and when we walk in that gospel we are doing righteousness. [Doyle: Right]

I’m helping myself, how about you? [Kathie: Yes]

Let’s look at the fourth chapter of Romans, no let’s start with 3:21 and 22:

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Is that wild? [Kathie: Yes] Would you back up to 19 and 20 and see what they are?

19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Is that hard to understand? No. Did you know those verses of scripture were verses that I was taught in 1972 in Argyle? [Kathie: Amen.] Without the law, without the law. [Kathie: Amen.] Without—do you know what without means? [Kathie: Yes]

You know it says, in Romans…10, “Christ is the end of the law for righteousness sake to everyone that believeth” and I used to say, if you don’t know what the end is, slide off your chair. [Kathie: Right] Oh, I’m having fun.

Kathie: I tell you what, it helped me, Romans 6 when it says, don’t yield your members to unrighteousness which is sin, but yield your member to righteousness, so it kind of gives you a, this is that, when you’re yielding your members, your mouth, our arms, your thoughts, all that to what leads to sin, that’s not righteousness; but when you yield your mouth, your heart, your arms, your legs, whatever to the gospel, that’s righteousness.

Thank God, preach on. I was talking to somebody recently about belief and unbelief and believing the gospel. You believe the gospel, walk in the gospel, trust in the gospel, and guess what? It will keep you from sinning. But, I told this person, you don’t have to sin, you don’t have to sin. You’re not going to be victorious, but you can look at a whatever that you lust after, but you don’t have to partake of it.

Kathie: That would be not yielding your members to sin.

That’s what I’m talking about. [Kathie: Right]

Kathie: I think it’s 1 John it says if the seed is in you, the seed of Jesus, you can’t sin. (1 John 3:9). [Doyle: Right] You get to a point, you can’t sin, you cannot sin.

Oh, that’s right. And he dwells there by faith.

Kathie: Right, and when you walk in the Spirit, we know how that feels when the Spirit says, “Whoa, stop! Go this way, don’t go that way.”

Right, exactly. Now, let’s don’t lose this. I’m excited. Plano, Texas a group of people and we’re already here, it’ll enlarge, reign and rule through the gift of righteousness in Plano. For certain, absolute fact I’ve been doing this for years, that’s how I reign. Others reign with me, they’re partakers of my faith and my free gift of righteousness. Folks you don’t know what God has promised this servant for obeying him forty-six years in Texas, and other places, the world.

Let’s read the Romans 4:

1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Amen. You know in 1980 I chartered my first charter and I believe the Lord gave me the name, “Seed of Abraham Ministries;” this ministry today is still “Seed of Abraham Ministry”, also “Water of Life Church of Plano, Inc.”, also, “Doyle Davidson Ministries.”

That 4th chapter, I went over that in Argyle, that was the most amazing thing to me.

Kathie: I tell you what, I spent probably a week in Frisco, sitting outside, I’d go outside a lot, and read over and over this chapter, burned a whole in my heart. I would read it and just, all I can say is, bend over, because of the power of God breaking up the law, getting it out of me to where I could see Abraham walked by faith.

Abraham was fully persuaded, right? [Kathie: Right] that what God had promised [Kathie: he was able to perform]

Did you know, I had no idea when I arrived in Plano, of course I lived just ten miles north, but in 1980, I had no idea what was going to happen here, not one idea. I certainly didn’t know that I was going to lose my eye sight, in 2009 it started. By 2013 I could see nothing. It took me a lot of discipline, the Lord’s grace working in me, it’s not been me. It’s grace, the grace of God working, that has kept me together, to continue for these eight years and not see.

Kathie: You know that’s what Paul worked in when he said, I labor more than you all, yet not I but Christ worketh in me.

1 Corinthians 15, that’s where the gospel is preached. I just thank God for his mercy, graciousness, longsuffering, abundant in goodness and truth to me during these eight years. You say, “Well Doyle you can’t see now.” Ha, ha! You watch me. I’ve got a promise now that I had not seen. Oh, compassed with the righteous, reign through the gift of righteousness?! Do you think you’re going to reign and be blind? Where you from? Don’t stir me up. And God shall be bountiful to me. [Kathie: Amen, yes]

Oh, my goodness!

Kathie: He shall deal bountifully with me.

Oh yes, deal bountifully with me [Kathie: Amen] Do you guess you’d be able to see?

Kathie: That word bountifully means nice, yes.

Oh, folks, I didn’t know during those eight years what Psalm 142 said, it was just opened up to me last week.

Let’s read Romans 6:

15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

I tell you it’s been a long time since I studied this, a long time since I taught this, but I’m going to trust the Lord and I’m going to say something: righteousness is a free gift, FREE, FREE. It has nothing, there are no attachments to receiving it, it’s free. Do you follow me? [Kathie: I follow you.] But do you know what? It’s imputed because you believe.

Oh listen, I studied this, I prayed about this, I meditated on this, I thought it’s too good to be made righteous freely. A free gift. The nature of God. Lord you know I’m trusting you every word.

Kathie; Wasn’t righteousness, forgive me, but I remember your four blood tapes, [Doyle: My what?] Your four tapes on the blood of Jesus. It was justification, sanctification, redemption, and wasn’t righteousness one of them?

Well righteousness would have been in there. I don’t remember though.

Kathie: Yes, righteousness was one of them.

What was the other one?

That’s four, justification, sanctification, redemption and righteousness.

There you go. Thank you girls.

Kathie: Pretty good for someone who can’t remember anything.

Oh, has God been merciful, gracious, longsuffering, abundance of goodness and truth to this house? [Kathie: Amen] You know, the Lord taught me that in Argyle? God the Father, Moses declared that, that’s Jehovah’s nature.

Righteousness I can’t say enough about. Free! Oh, you go through forgiveness, redemption, justification, I think sanctification—I feel comfortable, I trust what’s in here, right down here, not what’s up here—and then, free gift of righteousness. Righteous, righteous, free gift. We don’t deserve it folks, we can’t pay for it, you can’t talk right to receive it. They’re going to be hearing more on righteousness than Plano’s heard in several years, and the world.

And I’ll tell you when I knew that I’d receive the free gift of righteousness I was so humbled it was unreal. Thank God. That’s how I reign, that’s how you’ll reign—and Plano, the people that their righteousness is of God will continue to grow in number in Plano and the world. We preach it, we walk it, we’ve got the faith for it. All of this is given to us by the Lord. He paid it all.

No other name under heaven, just one, Jesus Christ of Nazareth whereby one must be saved, born again, one with the Lord, thank God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You have the grace, you have the faith to be saved, born again, one with the Lord, speak it after me, the name Jesus and be saved—Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…

God bless.

Entering The 38th Year of Preaching the Gospel Publicly in North Texas

Transcribed and edited from:
Saturday Dec. 31, 2016 11:00 AM Livestream Broadcast

I want to welcome everyone to this broadcast receiving it on livestream Roku, AppleTV, YouTube and other devices.

Kathie Davidson my co-host on my left, good morning.

Kathie: Good morning.

How are you?

Kathie: Doing well.

I want to say before we open any further, tomorrow will be the beginning of thirty-eight years that I’ve preached the gospel in North Texas.

I received my charter, Seed of Abraham Ministries in January [1980] and it’s still Seed of Abraham Ministries, but Water of Life Church of Plano, Inc., also, Doyle Davidson ministries, also.

I went to North Texas State University, Silver Eagle B Room and started preaching the gospel. I think that was a Friday morning and then Friday afternoon, and then Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday night in Bruce Hall, there I first taught, Jesus On The Cross. That’s amazing, you know that?

Kathie: Amen.

Tomorrow will be starting my thirty-eighth year preaching the gospel in North Texas. How are you Kathie D?

Kathie: Doing well.

You are?

Kathie: Ya.

Co-host, Kathie D. We’ve got two songs of Terry Mai recorded with Water of Life Boys; let’s have them and then we’ll have some scripture, then we’ll have Terre Brown with “One Day”.

Terry Mai and Water of Life Boys:
There Stood A Lamb
 Rise And Be Healed

Terre Brown’s going to come, minister a solo, but first Kathie Davidson’s going to read Ezekiel 36:

Ezekiel 36:

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Clean water, you know what that is? That’s the gospel, what we preach, what we’ve been preaching all these years, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It works in us, it will work in you if you’ll believe.

Terre Brown’s here, she’s going to do one of my favorite songs, first one that I heard back in the seventies in Argyle, one that really talked to me done by a country western singer, “One Day At A Time”.

January 1980, I received my charter, Seed of Abraham Ministries. That was a bold step for a veterinarian, real bold. But I was happy, I’d been a lay-speaker and a Sunday school teacher in the First United Methodist Church of McKinney since 1977.

Every step I took was with fear and trembling. Are you sure this is God? What makes you think God would send you to preach the gospel? Who do you think you are? Who has recommended you? What church has sent you? None. None, just Jesus. During February, March, April, May and June we did meetings all mostly in Collin County I think, where Plano, is at. We might have done one, I think we did, in Frisco, that’s Denton County, right”

Kathie: No, where you did it in Frisco is Collin County.

Very good. Well I think that is the only place we did it. That was 1980, how old was I? Forty-eight years old. I had sold my practice when I was thirty-seven. I’m doing all this with a mind that I hadn’t even thought what I was going to do. I was forty-eight, I’d been out of 121 [Veterinary Hospital] for ten years. Patti was not totally excited but somewhat. I remember one day I asked her a question. We were about to buy this building, (that was a few weeks later we started to buy) I said, “Pat what do you think about buying that building, Pitkin Creek Church of Christ?” Pat and I were more than just husband and wife, most of the time we were friends. And sometimes she would just shock me with her words. She said, “Doyle, God has not told us to do one thing that he didn’t pay for.” Did you hear that? [Kathie: Amen.] She’s in heaven but let me tell you, those were words that I needed to hear, there wasn’t anyone else.

Well, it wasn’t but a few days, a few weeks, I guess we attended a meeting in Boyles Middle School in Allen, I was doing a meeting there. I might not have the exact location on the right day, but if I’m not mistaken, John and Carol Ferguson were at that meeting and I know some horse people from Plano were there, John and Carol Delaporte, plus many, I don’t know how many.

But God was sending me to Plano, he had told me in April, when I was on 380, west of McKinney, west of Preston Road, “I want you to go to Plano and speak to the people of Plano.”

“What do I say?”

“Where Paul was at Antioch, read it and you’ll understand.”

Acts 11, Acts 13, Paul, Barnabas and three others at Antioch and they were prophets and teachers. I was a veterinarian, a lay speaker, a Sunday school teacher, a pulpit speaker in several of North Texas Conference United Methodist churches. They wanted me to go to seminaries, more than one, “The Methodist Church needs you.” It wasn’t God. I obeyed God, Dr. Wilson Canafax, a great friend of mine.

So we were told through Terre and Kathy Mai, about Faith Temple in Plano. Six families had started it; John Ferguson was pretty much the spokesman—Bob Buckner, Wallace Russell a good friend of mine, he’s in heaven, John’s in heaven, John Ferguson, Don Neblett, those days were days of new adventure. Stepping out to go to a city that God told me to go and speak to. He didn’t tell me to go there and preach; he said, “Go to Plano and speak to the people of Plano.” We’re in Plano right now.

Kathie: Amen.

Right?

Kathie: Amen.

I obeyed the word from the Lord, trusted him, and came to Plano. There I met with six families in Bob Buckner’s home, Judy fixed dinner for us. They wanted me to pastor Faith Temple and I said, “I’m sorry, Faith Temple is not a church.” I didn’t make any friends. I’ m a prophet and apostle and prophets build churches, they lay the foundation. This group didn’t have a foundation. They were all religious, all carnal, zealous to have a church, but not obey God. That night at Buckner’s house I told them, “I’m coming to Plano, God sent me, told me to come and you’re welcome to join me with your group if you want to, but it won’t be your church; it will be given to me, to my ministry, Seed of Abraham Ministries” and in November became Water of Life Church of Plano, Inc.

They had 165 members attending, they attended a building, a meeting place in east Plano, I forgot the name of it, and John Ferguson told them that I was coming to Plano, I had Seed of Abraham Ministries, I was forming a new one, Water of Life Church of Plano Inc. and if they wanted to join me, they could and about 125 of them walked out mad. That didn’t bother me, maybe not quite that many. God told me to come to Plano and speak to the people of Plano, not come here and pastor their church.

You see folks I knew who I was in the Lord and I didn’t doubt it. I grew up in religion. First I grew up in John Wesley Methodist Holiness with some solid people leading that group in southeast Kansas, northwest Missouri, Oklahoma, that would be northwest wouldn’t it? I’d left a lot behind me, I’d forsaken a lot and I at times had fear of forsaking 121 Veterinary Hospital but I believed it was God, I believed it was God that talked to me in 1969 and I told Pat my wife whose now in heaven, (we were married in 1952) “If I have made a mistake I’ll start another veterinary practice.” That eased her conscience a little. My relatives were after me, University of Missouri veterinarians were after me, “What’s happened to you?”

“I’m just doing what God told me.”

I’ll always be grateful to Dr. Ed Ebert, University of Missouri, he died in a tractor accident, in 1970. Ed was a great friend of mine. Gave me high recommendation as an equine practitioner potential, later offered me Director of Clinics, his job, University of Missouri, School of Veterinary Medicine. “Come up, get a Master’s, PhD and the position was mine”. He got killed in June 1970; broke my heart. I thought I probably was responsible for him dying, but I’m convinced he is with the Lord. I’m also convinced Hazel is with the Lord. Last time Pat and I saw Hazel she was in a nursing home, Columbia. I think that was 1977; we talked to her for ten minutes, she didn’t act like she heard anything. Finally I said, “Pat we must go.” We walked off and Hazel said, “Come back, I like honest people.” That was my reputation with her and Dr. Ebert.

Well, thank God. We were here in Plano and we bought this building. We paid for it, out of debt by 1985.

I just want to say to Plano, North Texas—you are my people, I preached the gospel to you. No one, no one ever preached the gospel to you, no one. They preached the word, they called it the gospel; just the word, they called it the gospel. If you would turn with me to Matthew 7:

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You know those verses, gave me much thought, much thinking, much praying, for two or three years, maybe more, I couldn’t understand them. One day I knew, Jesus said, the devil can’t cast out the devil. How could they cast out the devil and he’d say, I never knew you. It troubled me. I was a servant of God, I’d sold everything. Finally, back up to about, beware of false prophets:

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

You know those people are all false. You want to know why? Their heart’s not right, [Kathie: Amen.] You want to know why their hearts not right? They don’t have a revelation of the gospel and they never preach it. The world’s full of preachers that say their preaching the gospel, you have no revelation of it, I don’t know of any preacher that has a revelation of the gospel that I’ve heard, anywhere, not one.

Ezekiel Guti came to Water of Life from Africa. He and I talked more than once. One day I was taking him to the airport, he said, “You’re a very bold man.” I said, “Jesus Christ died for my sins, he was buried, he rose again the third day, according to scripture.” He said, “You’re a very bold man.” I said, “Jesus Christ died for our sins according to scripture, he was buried, he rose again the third day.” He said, “You’re a very bold man.” I said, “Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scripture, he was buried and he rose again the third day, according to the scripture.” I never even looked at him, I just kept looking straight ahead.

Suddenly he said, “That’s the gospel, why don’t we preach it?” You know that was a great day in my life?

Kathie: Amen.

“Why don’t we preach it?”

You better know I thought, “I don’t know why you don’t preach it.” About a year later he called me from Zimbabwe, he said, “I’m going to tell you, I’m making 3000 one hour videos on “What Is The Gospel?” and giving them to my preachers. I said, “Thank God.”

Mark 16, I’m going to show you what you all do, every one of you, every one of you, whether you are in the grave or whether you are alive and you are a student of the one in the grave. They didn’t preach the gospel to you.

Mark 16:

14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe;

Whoa, we’ll be back, but let’s read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Now I’m telling you people, you can shut me off, it doesn’t matter to me, I’ve been shut off by everybody in America. They don’t believe the truth, they don’t believe the bible, they don’t believe they could be wrong. Well, you haven’t heard the gospel unless you got it from me or one of the people that work with me. Alright-

1 Corinthians 15:

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

That’s the gospel, that’s the gospel right there. In Romans 1:16 it says that’s the power of God unto salvation, to everyone that believeth, Jew first, also to the Greek. 1 Corinthians 4:19 and 20 says the kingdom of God is not word but power. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 Paul said, my gospel came not to you in word only but power, get that? Power. That’s the gospel, kingdom, power, Mark 1 says it, Matthew 10 says it.

Mark 16, these signs-

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils-

Wait a minute, believe what? The gospel.

[Kathie: Amen.]

That’s what has been preached, the gospel, the gospel, the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, that’s the gospel, nothing else. So simple, that’s the gospel. You know what your problem is? You don’t have a revelation of it. Oh, the Lord preached this to me in Argyle I think in 1973. I was stunned. I thought, “No preacher, no preacher is preaching the gospel if this is the gospel.

Kathie: Amen.

Guess what they call gospel? Signs. Right?

Kathie: Amen.

Read it, these signs-

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe;

Believe what? Jesus died, he was buried, he rose again the third day, according to the scripture, 1 Corinthians 15. Those that have been around, I’ve been doing this going into my thirty-eighth year.

Kathie: Did you preach the gospel when you were a lay speaker at the Methodist Church?

Absolutely.

Kathie: And that was 1977?

1977, 1978, 1979, 1980-

Kathie: So that’s forty years.

Come on Kathie, help me. I know what that is, but that was not my ministry.

Kathie: That’s right, you were not chartered then, but you certainly were preaching it.

That’s right.

Kathie: You were preaching it back in 1974.

I started preaching it in Argyle. Kathie:

Right and frankly God called you as a minister to preach that gospel in 1974.

That’s right, in Jerusalem, June 16th. You see, I am absolutely sure of my calling. Sure, why? It’s in the bible. King James, NIV, Revised Standard, New American Standard, Amplified, where you at?

Kathie: I’m right here.

Let's go. You know, I really appreciate you. I do, you insert things that I need to have inserted in my speaking.

Kathie: That’s only because I’m a walking recording of what you’ve said since 1984.

You’re about right, come on.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;

Whoa, the first thing if you believe the gospel you’ll do is cast out devils, that’s the first thing; that’s a sign of believing the gospel, a sign of believing the gospel; that’s not the gospel, that’s a sign, are you getting it? Next-

they shall speak with new tongues;

Oh, a sign. Tongues is a sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, it’s a sign; tongues a sign of the Holy Ghost, of baptized in the Holy Ghost, cast out devils. Did you know what else is a sign that you believe the gospel? Tongues. Did you know, I’m not sure where it’s at but I think it’s the tenth chapter of the book of Acts, where Peter went up and preached the gospel.

Can you get there?

Kathie: Let me see if I can find it.

It’s the last part of chapter 10. We’re going to do this.

34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Kathie: He’s preaching the gospel.

That’s the gospel.

41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

And what’d they do?

46 For they heard them speak with tongues,

Amen, see! It’s all in the bible unless you have a brain that’s dead, unless you’re prideful and stubborn and want to prove you’re right.

Kathie: Amen.

You know how I got what I got? The Lord taught me.

Kathie: Amen.

It’s all in the word.

Kathie: And that’s the very first thing you taught me when came here, sitting in the blue chairs, actually they were pews back then, but if you want to speak in tongues, you preach the gospel. If you want to cast out devils you preach the gospel. [Doyle: That’s right.] It all comes through the gospel.

That’s right!

Kathie: Right. Well I grew up where they would preach tongues. [Doyle: Right] And tongues didn’t happen. [Doyle: Right] They would just talk about the tongues. [Doyle: Right] When I came here it was totally different. One of the first messages I heard from you Mark 16, you preach the gospel and when you preach the gospel, that’s when you’ll speak in tongues.

That’s what Peter did.

Kathie: That’s exactly right here. [Doyle: Yes] And he goes on to say those who were obedient spoke in tongues.

You know one of the sad times in my ministry was right here in this building. I preached the gospel, didn’t affect anybody. None. I don’t know how many got baptized in the Holy Ghost in this place, whole bunch of them. I finally turned it over to John Ferguson. He’d go talk to them and they’d speak in tongues. But when I preach the death, burial and resurrection they didn’t speak in tongues at all. Why? Because they couldn’t hear the word. [Kathie: Amen] Couldn’t hear the gospel, didn’t have any ears.

Oh, you think I haven’t been disappointed? But the Lord has been with me, he paid for all of it. I never asked for money from anybody. Never. If you believe the gospel you’ll speak in tongues. [Kathie: Amen.] Magnify God and prophesy, that’s the 19th chapter of Acts. [Kathie: Amen]

Time to quit. Would you say? Did we prove what we had to? Speak in tongues, baptize in the Holy Ghost, lay hands on the sick, same thing happens.

Kathie: Right, you preach the gospel.

You preach the gospel, take up serpents, they won’t hurt you. Don’t play with snakes. Drink any deadly thing, it won’t harm you, why? Because the gospel is in you. I’m not afraid to eat, drink or anything else. I was once, in Mexico, I wasn’t sure what I ate.

Thank God, no other name under heaven, just one, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, no other name, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whereby one must be saved. Thank God. God is giving you the grace and the faith to be saved, speak Jesus and be saved. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…God bless.
