I can think of many things that have been shared with me over the years, but none were more beneficial than reading the Psalms out loud. I could go into some theological explanation of the virtues of this exercise, but it would just be the flesh. The sum total of reading the Psalms out loud is that it works.
The works that are produced are profitable in your life. Now, I am about to say something that could shake you up. You could read all day and all night, and it could profit you not in the least, unless you believe. What! Then what do I do if I don’t believe, you say? Simple, read till you do. Folks, this works. No need to e-mail me with all of your excuses of why things don’t work in your life. They don’t work because you don’t believe. I know, because I have lived it (the unbelief). I will tell you something else, so has everyone else. There comes a day when you either fish or cut bait. Then, you will read those Psalms and the New Testament and you will believe, because you have no other way to go.
In 1985/1986, I got sick. I ran a fever for about sixty days, along with upper respiratory symptoms. The more time that passed, the weaker I got. It was very subtle. I got just a little weaker each day. Finally, I became so weak that I would leave work at noon and go home. One day, I went to a drive-through restaurant for some food. I was so weak that I pulled over into a parking space and lay over in the seat. I knew that I was I trouble. Somehow, I made it home that day. I told Debbie, my wife, that I was not going to prayer that night. I just didn’t feel up to it. Doyle had been sharing about reading the Psalms out loud and how it would be profitable to your life. Well, I needed some profitability in my life, and fast. My heart was so hard through doubt and unbelief that I could not accept that reading the Psalms out loud could help my situation. The gospel can help any situation, because it is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1). The gospel is on every page of the Psalms. God had a plan to write that in my heart.
As I sat on our couch, wrapped up I a blanket and shivering, God spoke. He said, "If you will read the Psalms out loud, I will heal you." I continued to shiver, cough, hack, and just be miserable. I needed help, I thought, "I will take you at your word." Let me give you what I knew at the time:
God had spoken.
I needed help.
Obedience brings blessings. (Genesis 22)
I started reading. It was slow going that first day, and I felt no better. The second day of reading found me at Psalm 66 or 67. I felt some improvement, and that was enough to be encouraged. By the end of the third day, I had finished the Psalms, and a change had occurred in my life, and in my heart. I felt better. The morning of the fourth day, I was stunned. I had no fever, no symptoms, less doubt, and more humility. I was humbled because I was close to going to the hospital, and then God changed my heart. Those Psalms were a fire and a hammer to the stony heart that I had.
You know it is not the physical reading that healed me. It was the power of God that manifested the change of my heart that healed me. Jesus tells us in Mark 7 that it is what comes out of the heart of man that defiles the man. The sickness was in my heart. That is hard, but it is the truth.
Humble yourself, read and pray the Psalms and the New Testament out loud. It will be profitable to you.

Prophets and Teachers at Antioch
I Corinthians 12:
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
When God sent to me to Plano and instructed me to speak to the people of Plano I asked, “What do I say to them?” He replied, “Read where Paul went to Antioch and you will understand.” I read in Acts 11:
19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.
21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.
22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
Notice these people that were at Antioch received Christ and were born again, but they had not yet been taught by a prophet and a teacher.
Now let’s look at Acts 13:1
Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
We see that prophets and teachers joined Barnabas and Saul, who in chapter 11:25 &26 Barnabas went and found then brought him to Antioch. In Chapter 13: 1 we see that Barnabas, Saul and three others; Simeon, Lucius, and Manaen were called prophets and teachers at Antioch.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

The Divine Appointment at the Garden Tomb
I met Bartholomew Manjoro, a student at Christ for the Nations (Dallas, Texas), when he visited my ministry in 1984. He was associated with Forward in Faith Ministries of Harare, Zimbabwe. Bartholomew was the number two man in the organization and had been with them for about twenty years. He attended Water of Life for several months. He and I became good friends and he invited me to come to Zimbabwe in 1985.
October 1984 I led a tour to Israel. While at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, there was an African man and two African women, myself, and two women from Water of Life with me, inside the tomb at the same time. The power of God was strong and all of us were shaking while standing in the cave at the entrance of the tomb where the visitors could stand while looking at the tomb itself.
After we exited one of my party, Ron Kepler, an Assembly of God preacher, began talking to the African man that was in the tomb with me. The man introduced himself to Ron as Ezekiel Guti, Founder of Forward in Faith Ministries, in Harare, Zimbabwe. My friend then said, “Doyle Davidson is going to Harare in January”. Ezekiel then asked, “Where is he coming to?” Ron replied, “Forward in Faith Ministries”. Ezekiel was amazed and said, “I don’t know about this, who is this person?” My preacher friend then told him of me and Water of Life Ministries but Ezekiel answered, “I have never heard of him.” Ron then went on to say, “He used to be a veterinarian…” Ezekiel then responded, “Oh, I know who he is now!”
Ron then came to me and said “Ezekiel is here!” and then reiterated his conversation. Ezekiel and I then met and talked. We both knew that God had arranged our meeting at the tomb. My plans were to be in Harare the second Sunday in January 1985, but after our meeting and talk Ezekiel asked if I could be there the first Sunday. It was to be their “Big Sunday” with preachers coming from all over Africa.
New Year’s Day 1985 we left Dallas Fort Worth Airport headed for Harare. After our arrival I spoke on Friday and Saturday night at local churches in the area. On their Big Sunday I was scheduled to speak just ten minutes after they conducted some business. The meeting had to finish by 4:00 PM so everyone could catch the last of public transportation. At 3:00 PM Ezekiel came to me and remarked how they had finished all their business much sooner than they expected and asked if I could speak for an hour. I said “Sure.” I spoke to four thousand people in the sanctuary through an interpreter. I preached on 2 Corinthians 8;
2 Corinthians 8:
1 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
6 Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.
7 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
10 And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
16 But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
17 For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
18 And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;
19 And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:
20 Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22 And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.
23 Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.
24 Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.
Ezekiel came to me afterwards and said, “I have heard many preach on that chapter but I never heard anyone get out of that chapter what you did.” It was just God ministering prosperity to Harare, Zimbabwe. I have been ministering to Zimbabwe ever since.
I will be speaking this Sunday (July 15, 2016) about my trip in 1985 to Zimbabwe and how God sent me there as an apostle and prophet.

In 1984 the owner of Channel 49 Television Station in Dallas/Fort Worth came to Water of Life Church to ask me about sponsoring a couple of Puerto Rican ministries for a television program. As we talked he looked at me and said, “I believe you are to go on television.” I replied, “I believe you are right.” As we were standing there talking God directed me to go on his station Saturday evenings live from 8:00 – 9:00 PM. He responded that it couldn’t be done; Jimmy Swaggart had that time reserved. I answered him back, “I believe God wants me to have it”. I stood with what I believed God said and the station owner picked up the phone and called Jimmy Swaggart’s ministry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The man on the other end of the phone responded they had decided they did not want that time. God got what He said for me to do. In April we began broadcasting a live one hour television program in Dallas/Fort Worth on Channel 49, Saturdays from 8:00 – 9:00 PM from the station’s studio in Dallas.
In June 1986 I changed our time to Sunday mornings 8:00 -9:00 AM. I would travel to the station and record two programs at a time.
Sometime in 1988 I knew it was time to purchase our own television equipment so we would be able to record television here. We ordered the cameras and all that pertained to them COD (cash on delivery). It was quite a lot of money. I remember when the call came that the cameras were in and they were ready to deliver. I wasn’t sure the money was there, but when we added together the three accounts used by the church there was just enough to cover the invoice. They were delivered and we began taping from here. At first, a crew from Channel 49 came with their video recorder while we would use our cameras.
While recording our television programs this way (our cameras and their recorder) there was a period of time I was teaching the book of Galatians. It was a difficult book to teach. I believe I had done six hours on the first four chapters of the book. I decided to push through and finish Chapter 5 in just one hour and Chapter 6 in the other hour of the two hours we record. When we were finished the television crew went back to their studio and they found the tape for both hours was blank, the programs did not record.
I want to say something here to a young man at that time, I don’t know where he is at now; Tony Montez, God bless you! He called me and said, “Brother Doyle, we made a mistake and the tapes are blank, we didn’t get your programs recorded”. I said, “Tony you didn’t make a mistake, it is my fault. I knew God wanted me to do more than one hour on Chapter 5 and 6, but I wanted to push it through to be done with it.”
So they came back and I did it in four hours, not two, the way God intended.
We then purchased a video recorder and began recording our programs at Water of Life Church in Plano, Texas. In February of 1992 God sent me to go on television, Channel 12, KODE, Joplin, Missouri—the land of my fathers. He then directed me to go on television in Tulsa, Oklahoma; He even told me what channel to go on, KWHB TV 47. I talked to a man named Gary Murphy; he worked for LeSEA Broadcasting at their Tulsa station. He said to send him a tape so he could send it to South Bend to be reviewed by Pete Sumrall. The most recent tape I did was titled “The Law is Not Faith”. I knew that tape was strong and controversial for main line religion. But in a few days I received a phone call that they had been looking for a ministry with integrity to take that hour, and I was that ministry. I have been with LeSEA Broadcasting most of the time ever since.
In 2000 God told me to go on secular television and to call Fox 23 in Tulsa. When I called the station I talked to the sales manager. I asked him what times they had available. He replied back, “The manager of the station and I were talking just one hour ago and the manager said if some ministry would like to do a daily program they can have 9:00 -10:00 AM Monday – Friday. I took that one hour program. I went on Tulsa, Fox Channel 23 on May 1, 2000. I remained on that station until 2007. I had a very good relationship with the sales manager.
I went on to broadcast from a CBS station in Wichita, Kansas, a Warner Brother’s station in Houston, and a station in Los Angles that was owned at one time by Gene Scott.
This ministry then went through a period of the power of darkness, but we came through. We are now broadcasting on LeSEA World Harvest Television, Channel 367 on Direct TV. This station covers all 50 states. We are also on 9 additional television stations, Live stream, Apple TV, Roku (Channel: Water of Life Ministries),YouTube, and Shortwave Radio.
We are still preaching what we have always preached, the gospel; the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We expect to keep preaching it until the Lord returns.

I believe I had done six hours on the first four chapters of the book. I decided to push through and finish Chapter 5 in just one hour and Chapter 6 in the other hour of the two hours we record. When we were finished the television crew went back to their studio and they found the tape for both hours was blank, the programs did not record.
I want to say something here to a young man at that time, I don’t know where he is at now; Tony Montez, God bless you! He called me and said, “Brother Doyle, we made a mistake and the tapes are blank, we didn’t get your programs recorded”. I said, “Tony you didn’t make a mistake, it is my fault. I knew God wanted me to do more than one hour on Chapter 5 and 6, but I wanted to push it through to be done with it.”
So they came back and I did it in four hours, not two, the way God intended.
We then purchased a video recorder and began recording our programs at Water of Life Church in Plano, Texas. In February of 1992 God sent me to go on television, Channel 12, KODE, Joplin, Missouri—the land of my fathers. He then directed me to go on television in Tulsa, Oklahoma; He even told me what channel to go on, KWHB TV 47. I talked to a man named Gary Murphy; he worked for LeSEA Broadcasting at their Tulsa station. He said to send him a tape so he could send it to South Bend to be reviewed by Pete Sumrall. The most recent tape I did was titled “The Law is Not Faith”. I knew that tape was strong and controversial for main line religion. But in a few days I received a phone call that they had been looking for a ministry with integrity to take that hour, and I was that ministry. I have been with LeSEA Broadcasting most of the time ever since.
In 2000 God told me to go on secular television and to call Fox 23 in Tulsa. When I called the station I talked to the sales manager. I asked him what times they had available. He replied back, “The manager of the station and I were talking just one hour ago and the manager said if some ministry would like to do a daily program they can have 9:00 -10:00 AM Monday – Friday. I took that one hour program. I went on Tulsa, Fox Channel 23 on May 1, 2000. I remained on that station until 2007. I had a very good relationship with the sales manager.
I went on to broadcast from a CBS station in Wichita, Kansas, a Warner Brother’s station in Houston, and a station in Los Angles that was owned at one time by Gene Scott.
This ministry then went through a period of the power of darkness, but we came through. We are now broadcasting on LeSEA World Harvest Television, Channel 367 on Direct TV. This station covers all 50 states. We are also on 9 additional television stations, Live stream, Apple TV, Roku (Channel: Water of Life Ministries),YouTube, and Shortwave Radio.
We are still preaching what we have always preached, the gospel; the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We expect to keep preaching it until the Lord returns.

Receiving Satellite
During the summer of 1983 a man came over from Word of Faith Outreach and shared that God had told him to install a satellite receiver at a church in Plano. He went on to share that none of the churches he approached would have it. I replied, “You haven’t asked me.”
He responded, “You wouldn’t take it”
“You don’t know that,” I said.
I went on a seven day fast and on the sixth day the Lord directed me to take it. It was installed and working with no cost to the ministry. We began taking Word of Faith Satellite once a month beginning that September.
We received the monthly meetings by satellite from Word of Faith Church in Farmer’s Branch, Texas. The meetings included ministers such as Bob Tilton, Marilyn Hickey, Charles Capps, Norvel Hayes, Hilton Sutton, T.L. Osborn, R.W. Schambach, Frederick K. C. Price, and Bob Yandian.
At one time during these meetings a lady at Water of Life came to me and said, “Don’t you see some of these teachings are in error?”
“Yes,” I replied, “But God told me to take Word of Faith Satellite and I obey God.”
Charles Capps spoke during one of the evening meetings and God led me to confront him about something he said. Charles was reading from Hebrews 7, about Melchisedec and he read the first three verses;
Hebrews 7:
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
As Charles Capps read the last verse he said, “You know he had to have a father and a mother.” I could not stand any more; I had to make a phone call. I called Capp’s office. The person on the other end said to me, “Do you disagree with what Charles Capps is teaching?” I replied, “No, he disagrees with himself. He says the Word of God is truth, but then denies the Word of God right here, saying Melchisedec had to have had a father or mother.”
The response I got? “We will give Brother Capps your message.”
In March of 1986 a series of meetings took place on Word of Faith Satellite with Bob Tilton and Norvel Hayes. They were saying it was another Azusa Street, making all kinds of proclamations and continuing every night. On the morning of the eighth day, as I was shaving, I said out loud in my bathroom, “This is not God.”
God spoke immediately to me, “Now that you have rightly judged, you are free from taking Word of Faith Satellite.”
I could not wait to get to church to terminate it. I ended it that day. Several months later the whole Word of Faith Satellite Network collapsed.
A couple of times after that we rented the building out to the Maranatha Group, so they could receive their meetings by way of the satellite feed.
Later I subscribed to a series of meetings via satellite from Kenneth Hagin’s Ministry. On the second night the satellite would not work. I called for the technician and he promised to be here within the hour, but was not. I kept trying until the Spirit of God spoke to me and said, “I don’t want you to take any more satellite.” With that word, it ended and I removed the dish from the property.

Meeting With Ezekiel Guti
Excerpt from A Work of Righteousness 2007:
A little over a week after I returned from Israel I went to visit with Ezekiel Guti. He was doing a meeting in Dallas. When I walked in they seated me about eight rows behind Ezekiel. As I looked toward the stage, there was lady speaking between two large banners. I looked up at the banner on the left; it was quoting the words of God to Moses, about how to build the tabernacle in Exodus 25:40;
And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
On the right was a banner quoting Matthew 28:18-20:
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The lady speaking pointed and repeated the words that I most certainly taught in Africa, on my teaching tapes and on my programs; if God wanted the tabernacle built just like He showed Moses, then most certainly He wanted the great commission carried out just like He stated. Frankly I was relieved to see that Forward in Faith Ministries were teaching the very things that I had taught them.
At the lunch break Ezekiel and I had 45 minutes to visit. He then followed me to my car, we embraced and I drove off. I have not seen him since but I expect to when God wants it to come to pass.

Divine Appointment
God ordained our tour of Israel in 1984. Channel 49 invited me to go and four other ministries were to go with me but they didn’t have enough money to get out of town, so we were the only group from Texas to go. People from New Mexico and the Carolinas joined us. There were 44 of us in all I recall. It was an interesting trip to say the least.
One specific event that was just tremendous, it was a great move of God. It was a divine appointment between Ezekiel Guti of Forward in Faith Ministries from Harare, Zimbabwe and myself, of Water of Life Ministries, Plano, Texas. We met in the Garden Tomb and had a brief conversation about my trip to Harare coming up in January. There was some changes made in the scheduling. But that is not as important as what God’s purpose was. It wasn’t just that Ezekiel and I meet but it was we met for a divine purpose. It was the day that the Gospel from my heart, Water of Life Ministries met with Forward in Faith Ministries of Zimbabwe and we met in the city where the Lord was crucified and raised from the dead.
Now Water of Life Ministries would go on with books, tapes, a television ministry that would enlarge, a radio ministry that would enlarge and subsequently go to five days a week, with five one hour broadcasts, on five short wave radio stations throughout the world on LeSEA Broadcast. That was a tremendous thing for this ministry. But as we taught on radio, television, and in books, Forward in Faith Ministries with Ezekiel recorded three thousand one-hour videos of "What is the Gospel."
It came about as I was taking Ezekiel back to Christ For The Nations in Dallas. I do recall that I was lost and couldn’t even find my way to there, even though I’d been there many times. It was all because of a message that God wanted to speak to Ezekiel. As we were driving along Ezekiel said, "You are a very bold man!" I said, as I just kept looking straight ahead, "Jesus died, He was buried, He rose again the third day." He sat there a minute and said, "You are a very bold man!" It was as if I wasn’t paying any attention to him, I repeated, "Jesus died, He was buried, He rose again the third day." He repeated again, "You’re a very bold man!" I knew that, I knew why, but he didn’t know why. I think after the third time I replied to him he said, "Well that’s the Gospel. How come we don’t preach it?" I answered, "I don’t know." We talked about it. He went home and some time later, a year or two, he called me and told me about the three thousand videos that he prepared for three thousand pastors. He had 750,000 people in his churches in Africa, and I’m not sure where all in Africa; but South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Harare, of course, Zimbabwe, and I’m not sure, there were others. But he sent those videos to them.
In 2007 I met with him again. He was having a conference in Dallas, of the Forward in Faith Churches. I met and visited with him perhaps for an hour and a quarter. I then had it read to me on his website and I believe it states that he has churches in over 108 countries and states. Now what I want to say is this Gospel that God revealed to me went out from here by television, internet, short wave radio satellite, etc. At that time in 1985 I took it to Zimbabwe and it started going out, out from Harare, Forward in Faith Ministries, and today it is in 108 countries and states. That was God’s plan, where he brought two men that had never met, gathered at Jerusalem at the Garden Tomb. What a great blessing it is for us and Forward in Faith Ministries, how they have taken the gospel that God revealed to me all over the world in person.
This is the prayer found on their website. Now if you read you see that the gospel is in this prayer. He died for our sins and was raised from the dead. The resurrection makes the Gospel complete. Thank God for Ezekiel and Forward in Faith Ministries.

The False Anointing
During a prayer meeting in September 1984 a spirit spoke to my wife Patti and told her, “Lay hands on Debbie Edge and tell her to be filled with the Holy Ghost.” When she did that both women broke out into hysterical laughter. I immediately went over to them and when I got within two or three feet there was a noticeable heat that hit me. There can be heat with the power of God and there can be a heat with demonic power, only by the gift of discernment will you know the difference. I questioned what had just happened. My first thought when Patti told me what she believed God had said to her was, "Why did not God tell me?" This was my first consideration, that this may be an act of rebellion and not the Spirit of God. Knowing scripture I had to consider several things:
God had placed me to lead this ministry.
When God wanted to move Mary and the child Jesus He spoke to Joseph, even though Mary was the mother of Jesus.
Matt 2:13:
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
And again in Matt 2:19, 20:
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.
I Tim 2:12 states:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
When Patti yielded to that spirit she usurped my authority.
I also knew we were already filled with the Holy Ghost.
You see, I knew Patti; to explain why she yielded to this is easy for me. For about fourteen years she gave herself little to reading and praying. She liked the world and her heart didn’t want to accept what was necessary to obey God, so it was easy for the devil to speak to her and give her a command because she did not have her faith and love perfected enough to resist this devil.
This spirit broke out all throughout this congregation. People would yield their members to it as it speaks in Romans 6. It took no faith to operate this spirit. Faith is of the heart and this spirit worked through the flesh. It didn’t take believing; a person would just yield to it as one would yield to a feeling or impulse. Some would laugh for long periods of time, even during teaching. There was howling and wailing. People would change seats because they believed God was telling them to do so. Some could step near a person and that person would fall over. I saw some doing somersaults and rolling on the floor. People would walk or run around the perimeter of the sanctuary.
One Sunday Basil and Kay Clark were leading worship and that spirit moved in on the whole congregation. All I could do was walk back and forth across the front of the church just thanking and praising God. I said to the Clarks, “I’ve lost control over this ministry.” I thought to myself, “Maybe that is what God wants.”
I first encountered this spirit in a meeting lead by Kenneth Hagin in the Seventies. He would point his finger at someone and they would fall over. Kenneth Hagin then went on to where he would blow on people and others would swing their coat or say “fill” and people would fall over. I saw the same on television with other ministries demonstrating this same spirit. I’ll always believe that this spirit came to this ministry through a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Patti came to where she despised what had happened to her and would complain about others and how silly they would act. I would explain to her that she was the one that released that spirit into this ministry and if it was God, she was coming against God, but I would go on to tell her I wasn’t sure if it was God or the devil.
Later John Ferguson and Lisa came to me separately, each saying “You don’t act like the rest of these people and I am not going to either. You are set as our example.” Their problem was they just stopped yielding to it but didn’t believe in their heart to overcome the world. Neither one of them is here today.
This was the most trying time of my faith I have had. I did not want to come against the Holy Spirit and I was not going to move until I knew for sure what spirit it was. I John 4:1 states,
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
It took Patti completely over and she became my enemy. I would have to go pray away from this building and everyone in it to overcome. Ezekiel Guti, on a visit here from Africa said to me directly, “You need to stop this thing.” I replied, “I will when I have the faith.” That same spirit went all over Africa. I fought with my faith against this spirit until 1998—fourteen years. Its intent was to seduce my faith and lead me to follow it.
You see, when that anointing hit this ministry I had already been walking with God for fourteen years. I certainly did not think that I had arrived, but I had a lot of experience living by faith. I have learned that a man walking with God never changes direction except by Word from the Spirit of God and it will produce victory with every change. With that experience behind me, I never wanted to deal with this false anointing in the flesh. I knew if it were the devil I’d have to overcome it before I could see any real results and any directional change.
Just prior to the March 5th and 6th, 1998 crusade in South Bend, my wife Patti had gone to her hairdresser in the morning and wrote a check to her stylist. Patti had good handwriting and the check was filled out well. But that evening she was balancing her checkbook and it looked like a first or second grader trying to write. I am a man with a lot of experience with nervous situations, and in my estimation she lost about 70% of the use of her arms and legs.
I arrived at that estimation from my past experience. I worked on a neurosurgery ward in the U.S. Navy as a hospital Corpsman during the Korean conflict and had to care for twenty-two paraplegics and four quadriplegics, and various other nerve injuries of the limbs. In addition I was a practicing veterinarian for twenty years doing a lot of equine practice, and dealt with various nerve injuries in the horse, so I have some confidence of my estimation of the loss of nerve activity in Patti.
A day or two later I was to fly to South Bend for a meeting. I arranged for Patti to have food and to be cared for while I was gone. On the way to South Bend I determined in my heart to speak on Friday morning at the breakfast and to call this a false anointing of the devil, sorcery, witchcraft. I was sure I was following the Spirit of God and after I spoke I called Patti at our home in Fairview. I said, “How are you doing?” She replied, “About thirty minutes ago I started getting better.”
She continued to improve with my prayers and recovered to a point that she could do her own grocery shopping, drive herself to the hairdresser, drive to the church, or where ever she needed to go. At that time she had a Cadillac and I had a Tahoe. She then asked if I would buy her a new Tahoe. I said, “Most certainly.” I gave the Cadillac to someone at church and Patti drove the Tahoe until 2000.
Her recovery from that spirit was remarkable and God proved to me that it was the devil. I believe God gave me the words “false anointing.”

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
When Patti yielded to that spirit she usurped my authority.
I also knew we were already filled with the Holy Ghost.
You see, I knew Patti; to explain why she yielded to this is easy for me. For about fourteen years she gave herself little to reading and praying. She liked the world and her heart didn’t want to accept what was necessary to obey God, so it was easy for the devil to speak to her and give her a command because she did not have her faith and love perfected enough to resist this devil.
This spirit broke out all throughout this congregation. People would yield their members to it as it speaks in Romans 6. It took no faith to operate this spirit. Faith is of the heart and this spirit worked through the flesh. It didn’t take believing; a person would just yield to it as one would yield to a feeling or impulse. Some would laugh for long periods of time, even during teaching. There was howling and wailing. People would change seats because they believed God was telling them to do so. Some could step near a person and that person would fall over. I saw some doing somersaults and rolling on the floor. People would walk or run around the perimeter of the sanctuary.
One Sunday Basil and Kay Clark were leading worship and that spirit moved in on the whole congregation. All I could do was walk back and forth across the front of the church just thanking and praising God. I said to the Clarks, “I’ve lost control over this ministry.” I thought to myself, “Maybe that is what God wants.”
I first encountered this spirit in a meeting lead by Kenneth Hagin in the Seventies. He would point his finger at someone and they would fall over. Kenneth Hagin then went on to where he would blow on people and others would swing their coat or say “fill” and people would fall over. I saw the same on television with other ministries demonstrating this same spirit. I’ll always believe that this spirit came to this ministry through a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Patti came to where she despised what had happened to her and would complain about others and how silly they would act. I would explain to her that she was the one that released that spirit into this ministry and if it was God, she was coming against God, but I would go on to tell her I wasn’t sure if it was God or the devil.
Later John Ferguson and Lisa came to me separately, each saying “You don’t act like the rest of these people and I am not going to either. You are set as our example.” Their problem was they just stopped yielding to it but didn’t believe in their heart to overcome the world. Neither one of them is here today.
This was the most trying time of my faith I have had. I did not want to come against the Holy Spirit and I was not going to move until I knew for sure what spirit it was. I John 4:1 states,
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
It took Patti completely over and she became my enemy. I would have to go pray away from this building and everyone in it to overcome. Ezekiel Guti, on a visit here from Africa said to me directly, “You need to stop this thing.” I replied, “I will when I have the faith.” That same spirit went all over Africa. I fought with my faith against this spirit until 1998—fourteen years. Its intent was to seduce my faith and lead me to follow it.
You see, when that anointing hit this ministry I had already been walking with God for fourteen years. I certainly did not think that I had arrived, but I had a lot of experience living by faith. I have learned that a man walking with God never changes direction except by Word from the Spirit of God and it will produce victory with every change. With that experience behind me, I never wanted to deal with this false anointing in the flesh. I knew if it were the devil I’d have to overcome it before I could see any real results and any directional change.
Just prior to the March 5th and 6th, 1998 crusade in South Bend, my wife Patti had gone to her hairdresser in the morning and wrote a check to her stylist. Patti had good handwriting and the check was filled out well. But that evening she was balancing her checkbook and it looked like a first or second grader trying to write. I am a man with a lot of experience with nervous situations, and in my estimation she lost about 70% of the use of her arms and legs.
I arrived at that estimation from my past experience. I worked on a neurosurgery ward in the U.S. Navy as a hospital Corpsman during the Korean conflict and had to care for twenty-two paraplegics and four quadriplegics, and various other nerve injuries of the limbs. In addition I was a practicing veterinarian for twenty years doing a lot of equine practice, and dealt with various nerve injuries in the horse, so I have some confidence of my estimation of the loss of nerve activity in Patti.
A day or two later I was to fly to South Bend for a meeting. I arranged for Patti to have food and to be cared for while I was gone. On the way to South Bend I determined in my heart to speak on Friday morning at the breakfast and to call this a false anointing of the devil, sorcery, witchcraft. I was sure I was following the Spirit of God and after I spoke I called Patti at our home in Fairview. I said, “How are you doing?” She replied, “About thirty minutes ago I started getting better.”
She continued to improve with my prayers and recovered to a point that she could do her own grocery shopping, drive herself to the hairdresser, drive to the church, or where ever she needed to go. At that time she had a Cadillac and I had a Tahoe. She then asked if I would buy her a new Tahoe. I said, “Most certainly.” I gave the Cadillac to someone at church and Patti drove the Tahoe until 2000.
Her recovery from that spirit was remarkable and God proved to me that it was the devil. I believe God gave me the words “false anointing.”

Water of Life Christian Training School
In January 1983 the Lord instructed me to begin a bible school. When I shared this with one of the leaders of Water of Life he replied half-heartedly, “Well, who is going to come?” My response was, “I don’t care if anyone comes. I will teach to the chairs.”
Two weeks later Water of Life Christian Training School was established with fifty-four students in attendance. We repeated the same teaching in September adding another term, enlarging the school to comprise of a fall and spring semester.
The teaching began with the Gospel and It’s Benefits. After that I taught the foundation found in Hebrews 6:
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
The course was called, “Foundation Faith” but we covered each of the principals separately: Repentance from Dead Works, Faith Toward God, The Doctrine of Baptisms, The Doctrine of Laying on of Hands, Resurrection of the Dead and Eternal Judgment.
God revealed the foundation to me in an unusual way. I had been in Argyle, God putting me in the wilderness to overcome the devil. I was reading and studying, looking for the foundation that was spoken of in the Word.
In 1973 I was visited by Mike and Pat Reed and their four children at my home in Argyle. During the Reeds’ stay at our house Mike was under severe attack of the devil. In the daytime he would have to rest and at night he would teach in our house.
In one of our conversations, I shared with Mike what God had revealed to me; that there was a foundation and it is spoken about in I Corinthians 3:
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
I asked Mike, “Where is that foundation?”
His response was, “Doyle, don’t you know?”
I said, “No.”
“Well,” he said, “It is Hebrews 6:1,2.”
After he left my house I started studying the foundation as outlined in Hebrews 6. I developed the teaching that I used for many years in Water of Life Christian Training School, on radio, television and in the crusades of several states.
With the inception of Water of Life Christian Training School we began making the teaching tapes available.
God spoke to me later these words, “I will pour out my Spirit through Water of Life Christian Training School.”

The Trip To Mexico - 1982
In June of 1982, a small group of a dozen or so from Water of Life traveled to Mexico to pass out bibles. While there I also spoke in several of their churches along with casting out devils and healing the sick.
Several things happened that made the trip very interesting.
First, before we left Plano for the trip I had an encounter with a woman whose father was a Baptist preacher. She asked me why I did not put more effort into getting people born again. I answered her that it is God that does the work and if God wants people saved He will lead me to do so. I don’t think she was happy with my answer.
However, during one of the meetings, in Rio Bravo, there was a group of people crowded into a small building and the Holy Spirit began leading me to point out certain people and ask them, “What do you want from God?” The first answered, “I want to be born again.” I asked the next person the Spirit led me to ask, “What do you want from God?” They answered in the same way, “I want to be born again.”
This went on for several more, the Spirit would show me who to ask and they would answer, “I want to be born again” or “I want my husband to be born again”, etc.
A lawyer that was with our group interrupted me and said, “Let me do this.” I stepped back and let him take over. He pointed to a person and said, “What do you want from God?” They answered, “Nothing”. He tried it again, the response, “Nothing”. He could not walk in the Spirit. I stepped up and spoke, “Better let me take this.” The gentlemen stepped back. I was led to ask another person, “What do you want from God?” “I want to be born again” was their answer. The Spirit of God led me in that meeting and many were born again. God convinced me and hopefully the person that spoke to me before the trip, that the Spirit of God will lead me to do the work of an evangelist when He sees fit, and they will be born again.
Another interesting thing that happened occurred at a meeting I was ministering in at Reynosa at a Second Methodist Church.
Before the trip I had been speaking to a friend of mine from Bedford, Oregon, by the name of Leonard Keen. He surprised me with a warning, “Don’t let anyone pirate your anointing.” I had never heard anything like this and frankly didn’t believe it was possible, until this trip.
At one point during the meeting I was ministering to some people, moving in the anointing of the Holy Ghost. I walked over and was standing by one of the people from the group. As I moved away from him I sensed the anointing was gone and this person began to minister as I was. I walked back over beside him and the anointing came back to me. I have never forgotten that.
At yet another meeting there was a woman brought that was suffering from insanity. Another woman took her bible and began rubbing it on the head of this insane person and saying, “This is a sword!” This made me so angry at the stupidity of a person thinking that rubbing a bible on the head of a mentally ill person would do any good.

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself
WillowCreek’s Parking Lot.
In 2008 as I was walking on our new parking lot thanking God, the Lord said to me “You should love your neighbor as yourself.”
I said, “Are you talking to me about building them (our neighbors, WillowCreek Fellowship) a parking lot?”
I moved on it immediately. I did not have the money when God spoke that to me, it took about six or seven weeks to gather it. I gave WillowCreek the money as I received it, until they had enough to pay for it in full. They contacted the asphalt paving company, the same company that did our parking lot.
They were driving on it in September.

Socialism Spirit In Our Government
After strong praying on October 13, 2008, I broke through the socialism spirit in our government. Terre Brown was delivered at about the same time. She had been sick several days; I was unaware of her healing until later that day.
Terre Brown’s Testimony:
In October 2008, I became very sick on Saturday afternoon, the 11th. For three days I was mostly passed out asleep with fever, horrible aching pain and nausea. What little time I could stay awake I would try to read Psalms, but I was very ill, dizzy, barely able to eat or walk around. In a conversation with Doyle, he said that he was overcoming socialism and was praying me through that as well. On Monday afternoon at 4:15, I suddenly knew that the spirit of this sickness was broken. I tried calling Doyle but he did not answer his phone. Within fifteen minutes all my symptoms were gone, and I was healed. At church that night, Doyle spoke that he had broken through and overcome at 4:00 that afternoon!
The following Saturday I was eating dinner at a restaurant with my family, and I saw an old friend from high school that I had not seen since college. I asked her about an older woman that I had known before coming to Water of Life church. I had attended this woman’s bible study for several years. She taught the same Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) doctrines that I adhered to. This woman was also the unofficial leader in North Texas for the study of Homeopathy, an alternative system of medicine. My family had begun studying and using homeopathy just a couple of years before. So this woman became very influential in my life at that point. Since she was older, I didn’t even know if she was still alive. To my surprise, my friend told me that she had just died the previous Saturday, the day that I became severely ill.
Then, on the following Monday, we learned that the previous day a man died who I had known most of my life from my dad’s employment. This man was the first person hired by Ross Perot in forming EDS in 1962 and was a familiar household name to me while growing up. He remained on the EDS board of directors until it sold to GM in 1984. A few years later, in 1987, this man invested a large sum in the company that my husband, Steve, worked for. I was greatly surprised when Steve came home and told me who their newest investor was! Within a few years he became the CEO and largest stockholder in the company. Needless to say, it was shocking to hear that this man had also died right at this same time period in October 2008.
The spirits of DTS, Homeopathy and EDS were major influences in my life. I had no clue how much they had me bound – especially since I had not participated in any of those things since 1985 and believed that they were false doctrines and contrary to the gospel. Being delivered of those strongholds brought a dramatic change in my heart and my ability to believe the gospel. I thank God for His mercy to deliver me!

Binding Witchcraft, September 26, 2008
On Friday, September 26th I prayed binding witchcraft from 7:40 AM until 3:20 PM with only a few short interruptions. I grew so weak, I had such little strength, that I was unable to stand and instead lay across the blue chairs in the Fellowship Hall. I overcame the weakness when a recording of Terry and Kathy Mai singing “I Proclaim the Name of the Lord” began playing. Within fifteen minutes I was back to normal. I realized then I could join my faith with the anointing of Terry Mai’s singing that was on the worship tapes.
This was a profound day and things began to change in this ministry.
Four days later, on the 30th, I again spent several hours binding witchcraft though not as intense as the previous Friday. God opened up the Spirit to me about prophets. I could see how prophets have always existed, at least from Abraham. God said Abraham was a prophet
Genesis 20:
7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

Hello I’m Doyle Davidson, servant and apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ ministering locally to the Body of Christ in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, sent by God to your house to declare unto the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 tell us what the gospel is, how that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scripture, he was buried, he rose again the third day according to the scripture.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, sent me to heal the broken hearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, set at liberty them that are bruised.
The word is nigh thee even in your heart and in your mouth, that is the word of faith which I preach, if you’ll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that has raised him from the dead you shall be saved, for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek; for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written the just shall live by his faith.
On the 29th of June, 2008 I was standing up on this platform speaking and out of my mouth came by the Spirit of God that my ancestors had come to America so I could preach the gospel. I was somewhat amazed. I knew something about the Davidsons and I knew something about the Millers, my mother’s side and my father’s side, being the Davidsons; but I didn’t know what I was soon to learn.
In 2009, 2010 and 2011 God began to open up things to me that I knew nothing about. First of all one of the shockers, David Kaspareit who has been with me since 2007, I found to be a cousin. Not only did I find David to be a cousin, he’s with me today, but he’s a descendant of sixteen Mayflower [passengers] and he is a descendant of [six] of my [eight Rhode Island] great-grandfathers; he’s got a couple of his own. And then I find Sadie Peters a descendant of the Mayflower.
But as I was speaking on the 29th of June, 2008, a lady walked up beside me; I’ll never forget her. I knew her but not well. I noticed she had on red shoes and she starts talking about being a descendant of the Mayflower and I didn’t want to be rude, and hope not to be now, but I thought,
“What are you doing up here? You’re complicating this thing for me.”
Well she didn’t, her name is Kathie Davidson. She will be speaking after Paul Peters sings.
So, it was incredible what God revealed. But three weeks after June 29th, on July 20th, God did an amazing thing, amazing thing. God had promised me years ago, that a son would come out of my loins and that son would be like the one born in Isaiah chapter 8, from Isaiah and a prophetess. The prophetess does not have a name, it doesn’t say that that prophetess is this child’s mother, No it doesn’t, although…it says, before that child can say, “My father, or my mother, then judgment will begin. I made just a brief error, it does not say that prophetess is Isaiah’s wife. It does not say that.

1 Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the Lord to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.
4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
I made an error about not being his mother, what I meant was, the prophetess does not need to be, wasn’t Isaiah’s wife. So I know that a son will be born out of my loins, and I’ve known it for years. And his name is John, I know that; not John Davidson, John; that I know. I do not know who his mother is and she will not be my wife. She is a prophetess, it’s that simple. You may never know who that prophetess is. Oh I will, I thought I’d give you a hint, I will, unless God makes it known, you won’t know. I’m quite sure you will see John, I’m quite sure you will. I do not know when or where John will be born, I do not know.
I’m very methodical, thinking on my feet which I can do well. I do not want to misstate something by the Spirit. The spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet and I know that and I know that well. Thank God.
Now in 2013, January, Daniel 11:20-28—Paul you didn’t know you were going to read this, when you get ready:
Daniel 11:
20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

My friends, when God revealed that to me, Kathie D was reading it to me, I was asking her to go to Daniel, she read it to me and when she read 20 through 28 I said,
“My God is this America? Is this the United States of America? The land that I love, could this be the United States of America prophesied by the prophet Daniel about what would happen at the end?”
It’s taken me time to settle, but I’m convinced this is the United States of America. I’m convinced the president we have now is found, beginning in verse 20. Now, there is another one coming up, coming up, elected in November or certainly be put in place on inauguration day on January 17th. Not saying anything’s certain. I did, but I just retracted it.
My friends, these days are frightening.
A few months back I said to the Lord, “What will ’16 look like. The Lord gave me a word. Paul, do you have the NIV?
[Paul: I can pull it up]
Pull it up, go to 1 Thessalonians 1 and 2 Thessalonians 2, and I’m going to tell you the word that God told me would be in ’16 in America: “unsettled”. I said, “KD, look this up.” King James: not there. I said, “Look in the NIV.”

1 Thessalonians 3 (NIV):
1 So when we could stand it no longer, we thought it best to be left by ourselves in Athens.
2 We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,
3 so that no one would be unsettled by these trials.
2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV):
1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,
2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.
You can read those two accounts but I knew God gave me the word “unsettled” by the Spirit and it wasn’t in King James and I said look in the NIV and there it was.
I’m just telling you, America is unsettled. If you don’t know it, you’re blind.
In four months, about four I guess, a little over, there is going to be an election. Maybe, maybe. We don’t know, we don’t know what’s going on in our country, we don’t know. Unsettled times, folks.
Now, I’m convinced that John, my son will be born and before he can say, “My Father and my Mother,” judgment begins. I’m not sure of that judgment, at all. I’ve got some perception perhaps, that I know, but I’m not ready to say it. It’s not clear enough in my sprit to say it. You see, God puts words in my spirit but it’s not yet time to deliver; and the faith and the love have to be developed before you can speak.
In the Book of Galatians, chapter 5, it says “neither circumcision, nor uncircumcision availeth anything, but faith which worketh by love.” That’s how I live.
But I’m telling you now America, you’re going to see more unsettled days, unsettled days ahead. You better repent and believe my gospel, most certainly they’re coming. I do not know when the prophetess will conceive, the mother of John, I do not know. Nope, I’m not saying anymore, but I would encourage you to consider what I’m saying and watch, and let God give you understanding.

Hello I’m Doyle Davidson, servant and apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ ministering locally to the Body of Christ in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, sent by God to your house to declare unto the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 tell us what the gospel is, how that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scripture, he was buried, he rose again the third day according to the scripture.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, sent me to heal the broken hearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, set at liberty them that are bruised.
The word is nigh thee even in your heart and in your mouth, that is the word of faith which I preach, if you’ll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that has raised him from the dead you shall be saved, for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek; for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written the just shall live by his faith.
On the 29th of June, 2008 I was standing up on this platform speaking and out of my mouth came by the Spirit of God that my ancestors had come to America so I could preach the gospel. I was somewhat amazed. I knew something about the Davidsons and I knew something about the Millers, my mother’s side and my father’s side, being the Davidsons; but I didn’t know what I was soon to learn.
In 2009, 2010 and 2011 God began to open up things to me that I knew nothing about. First of all one of the shockers, David Kaspareit who has been with me since 2007, I found to be a cousin. Not only did I find David to be a cousin, he’s with me today, but he’s a descendant of sixteen Mayflower [passengers] and he is a descendant of [six] of my [eight Rhode Island] great-grandfathers; he’s got a couple of his own. And then I find Sadie Peters a descendant of the Mayflower.
But as I was speaking on the 29th of June, 2008, a lady walked up beside me; I’ll never forget her. I knew her but not well. I noticed she had on red shoes and she starts talking about being a descendant of the Mayflower and I didn’t want to be rude, and hope not to be now, but I thought,
“What are you doing up here? You’re complicating this thing for me.”
Well she didn’t, her name is Kathie Davidson. She will be speaking after Paul Peters sings.
So, it was incredible what God revealed. But three weeks after June 29th, on July 20th, God did an amazing thing, amazing thing. God had promised me years ago, that a son would come out of my loins and that son would be like the one born in Isaiah chapter 8, from Isaiah and a prophetess. The prophetess does not have a name, it doesn’t say that that prophetess is this child’s mother, No it doesn’t, although…it says, before that child can say, “My father, or my mother, then judgment will begin. I made just a brief error, it does not say that prophetess is Isaiah’s wife. It does not say that.
Paul Peters read Isaiah 8:
1 Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the Lord to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.
4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
I made an error about not being his mother, what I meant was, the prophetess does not need to be, wasn’t Isaiah’s wife. So I know that a son will be born out of my loins, and I’ve known it for years. And his name is John, I know that; not John Davidson, John; that I know. I do not know who his mother is and she will not be my wife. She is a prophetess, it’s that simple. You may never know who that prophetess is. Oh I will, I thought I’d give you a hint, I will, unless God makes it known, you won’t know. I’m quite sure you will see John, I’m quite sure you will. In a couple minutes, we are going to worship and praise God and what we don’t know, what we have not heard is that when the Declaration of Independence was ratified, and signed and they found that July 4th would most likely become a holiday, John Adams said, “You know what we need to do? We need to spend July 4th fasting and praying and praising God.” So we are going to do what John Adams wanted.
When we were in prayer this afternoon, Doyle asked me, “Do you have anything to say tonight” and I said “No” and we started praying and God started talking and it was wonderful and I want to share it with you.
I’m going to do something that is not normally done: I’m going to put church history and American history together, because they are parallel and you will see that. I want to begin by sharing with you the second sentence of the Declaration of Independence.
Tomorrow in America it is the 4th of July; we celebrate our Independence Day. The Declaration of Independence was ratified (voted on) on July 2nd, on July 4th they signed it—this is the day we decided to celebrate.
The second sentence in the Declaration of Independence, a huge document, that did something that history had never seen before said:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator…
And you say that our forefathers did not believe in God.
…with certain unalienable Rights, (certain rights that you cannot take away) that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness
Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness—that is what our Continental congress voted on, to ratify the Declaration of Independence and what we were telling England was:
“We’re done with ya, we are done with you. We have our own country and this is why: because we have certain rights given to us by our creator and we’re going to follow those rights.”
Now, what you weren’t taught in high school, what you weren’t taught in elementary school, was, that in the middle of this, from 1720 to 1770, America was in a huge revival; look it up in your church history. What happened was in 1720, one hundred years after the Pilgrims showed up, the preachers in 1720 realized that the children of all those people who came across for religious freedom, to worship God as they saw fit, the children weren’t doing what their parents were doing. And they realized their children weren’t interested in God. All their children were interested in was money and land—sound familiar? Their children wanted prosperity, that’s where their hearts went.
So they started to pray and preachers started to preach and a revival broke out. If you remember the name, Jonathan Edwards, he was one of the first evangelists in America. Jonathan Edwards started preaching an interesting series of sermons: justification by faith alone. You know what I preached this morning? Justification by faith alone. That kind of made me happy when God showed me this.
But, Jonathan Edwards was one of the first evangelists and huge crowds started coming, huge crowds started listening and huge crowds started believing. He said in one meeting, 300 people were born again and that was just the beginning. Then a little later on, we had another evangelist by the name of George Whitfield. I don’t know if you knew about George Whitfield but he came up in the time of the Revolution and George Whitfield had huge crowds come to him. This is in the 1700s and he would have 32,000 people show up to hear. George Whitfield had a friend, Benjamin Franklin.
Benjamin Franklin never publicly said that he was born again but Benjamin Franklin became a good friend of Whitfield and actually, he began publishing Whitfield’s books for him. They would meet and they would talk, and Benjamin Franklin made a wonderful statement. He said after Whitfield would minister in a town, in his town, he couldn’t believe the change in the people. We are talking thousands changing, thousands being born again. Ben Franklin said the change was amazing; he said he would walk down the street in the summertime and peoples’ windows would be open and he could hear people in their homes reading the Psalms out loud. Does that familiar?
Revival in America, and do you know what Whitfield preached? The gospel. He said to the people, “You must get back to the gospel; you must walk in the gospel,” that’s what Whitfield preached. Now in the middle of this, we end up starting a revolution. We end up having a preamble to the Declaration of Independence that says,
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…”
Where did that come from? It came from the revival. Who sent the revival? Our heavenly Father sent the revival. Our Father sent the revival. Why? Why did we have a revival? It was called the Great Awakening. Why this revival in the United States and why did It bring out the Declaration of Independence? Why did America escape from Great Britain? Why did America now have their own country?
Back to the preamble:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Go with me to 1 Timothy 2:
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Does that sound like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Do you see what that bible brought us? It brought us the Declaration of Independence and not only that, it brought us the Constitution. And do you know what the First Amendment in the constitution is? Freedom of religion.
Freedom to meet together, freedom to have the religion that you believe, freedom to walk in your conscience obeying God, freedom to walk in the gospel—that we may have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Do you see how those two things parallel? Do you see how that revival brought this? Do you see how God talked to our forefathers? Do you see how they heard this? And do you see how it showed up in our Constitution and out Declaration of Independence? Yes, these men did believe God.
Go with me to John 10:10. Life, liberty, a pursuit of happiness—I know there are other documents, but you are talking about men that listened to people preaching the gospel for sixty years. Our forefathers heard them, John Adams heard them, obviously Ben Franklin did, Thomas Jefferson did; they heard these ministers, they were in their churches, they heard the gospel preached. And what does John 10:10 say?
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Do you see that out of that revival, God gave us a country and gave us the freedom to walk in the gospel? Do you see that through the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, we as a people were given the freedom, the freedom to walk in the gospel? Now who gave us that freedom? The heavenly Father, and where did we get it? We got it through the gospel.
America, America, you were given your freedoms to obey the gospel, to walk in the gospel; the freedom to meet together, the freedom to read that bible, the freedom to walk in the Holy Ghost and now you want to give it up. You want to give it up for Obama Care, you want to give it up for Social Security, you want to give it up for food stamps when you could have had what Jesus said, “that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.”
You know what America? There is a people here that are going to go on and they are going to walk in the gospel and they are the people of God and they are going to stand up, they are going to be the Church that Jesus brought, the Church that Jesus made and someday that Church is going to go be with Him in heaven. Amen.

The heavenly Father, and where did we get it? We got it through the gospel.
America, America, you were given your freedoms to obey the gospel, to walk in the gospel; the freedom to meet together, the freedom to read that bible, the freedom to walk in the Holy Ghost and now you want to give it up. You want to give it up for Obama Care, you want to give it up for Social Security, you want to give it up for food stamps when you could have had what Jesus said, “that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.”
You know what America? There is a people here that are going to go on and they are going to walk in the gospel and they are the people of God and they are going to stand up, they are going to be the Church that Jesus brought, the Church that Jesus made and someday that Church is going to go be with Him in heaven. Amen.
