The House of Prayer

In 1970 at the direction of the Lord I sold my properties in Missouri and Texas that included over 200 acres of land. In 2004 God moved me to Plano onto a small city lot into a 2,800 square foot house. I was used to walking and praying on my land, but thank God when I moved to Plano I still had Water of Life Ministries to walk on.

Water of Life Headquarters has a 16,000 square feet building with a sanctuary that will seat 500 in comfortable chairs. The fellowship hall will seat 300 in comfortable chairs and we have two nurseries where people care for their own children. These three rooms have close-circuit television. There are 22 other rooms for offices and other uses.

The fellowship hall is my favorite place to pray. I walk and pray for hours in the morning, afternoons and evenings. It has recorded songs of Terry Mai and Water of Life Boys and the Mai Girls playing 24 hours a day. I join my faith in prayer with these ministries of song.

The facility is located on 2 ½ acres of land elegantly landscaped with five beautiful large Live Oak trees. I thoroughly enjoy walking outside out in front under the trees. I rarely walk on the grass, but one Saturday afternoon in October 2005, I was walking and praying on the grass and God revealed himself to me as Jehovah. Neil Dodge was a witness. What a marvelous day with the Lord, a day that I shall never forget.
