Anointed to Preach the Gospel

God sent me to Israel in June 1974. I was invited to go with Derek and Lydia Prince on their Family Tour. On June 17, 1974 at the Garden Tomb, God visited me and anointed me with these words:

Acts 1:

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And that day the anointing came upon me. I had a revelation of the gospel, Acts 10:

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

I had a revelation of the gospel--that’s the power, I had that in 1973, but that day—June 17, 1974—that anointing came upon that gospel that was in my heart; the anointing was to minister the gospel. I had been baptized in the Holy Ghost on July 24, 1970 while sitting in bed at midnight and spoke in tongues. I had a revelation of the gospel, but I was not anointed to preach it; that day at the Garden Tomb, I was anointed to preach the gospel.
