The Healing of the Daughters

For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Jeremiah 8:11

Deliverance from the False Anointing. I have written before about some of the effects of the false anointing that entered my ministry in 1984. The spirit behind it is sorcery and it speaks from many of the pulpits in America and the world today. The church of Jesus Christ does not know what has them deceived. It leads them to believe that Jesus was both God and Man, yet scripture clearly teaches us that Jesus was God, was with God, and became flesh, John 1:14;

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This false spirit pervaded all the denominations and the leaders are unaware of what they are doing. This spirit invaded Water of Life Ministries in 1984 and misled and bound up many. Because they would not believe the gospel their eyes were blinded by the god of this world, as in II Corinthians 4:3,4;

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

It was not until 1998 that I had the faith to identify it and begin to overcome it. Then on June 9th I was anointed to set people free from that false anointing, people that had been with me for years. I have a one-hour video available for viewing on my website showing the Power of God delivering certain ones from that spirit. Trip to Israel. Four days after the deliverance of the false anointing I traveled to Israel with four people with me. I was concerned about flying on a commercial flight because of my prayer requirements. I pray for many hours a day and have for years. But God did something that I was certainly not looking for to happen. First of all, I found I could go to the plane’s galley and pray without hindrance. That gave me considerable relief before I left. But God had something greater (as He always does) by rearranging the seating. Because my plane from Dallas/Fort Worth to Atlanta was late, they reassigned me to a different seat. Now, to my left was a Jewish woman from Tel Aviv. She was a delight to talk to. I asked her if she would mind if I prayed, and she replied, “No sir.” I started praying in other tongues, and then after I had prayed for a short period of time I asked her if my prayers were bothering her. She answered, “Oh no, sir, that is the most beautiful praying I have ever heard!” Sometime later a woman across the aisle started up a conversation with me. I asked her the same, “Is my praying bothering you?” “Oh no sir, your prayers are beautiful!” I was able to pray for hours. God just showed me He could put people beside me on a Trans Atlantic flight that would not object to what I do, even if my companions were not sitting with me. It was a wonderful thing for me to experience the power of God in that situation.

While in Israel we met with George and Betty Jackson, directors of Derek Prince international, and had some great fellowship with them. Betty Jackson is my sister and I had not seen them since Patti’s funeral in 2003.

Visiting the various sites in Israel again was a joy. God called and anointed me for the ministry there on June 17, 1974 at the Garden Tomb. It has been accepted among scholars that June 17 was the day of Pentecost in 33 AD. We happened to be in Jerusalem this trip on June 17. George and Betty Jackson took us for a walk and led us up right up to Christ’s Church. This was where I spoke my first message just two days after God had called and anointed me for the ministry.

We had a guide this trip that I had never met named Yossi Weiss. He was very knowledgeable about Israel’s history and shared it openly with our party of five. There was a love in Yossi’s heart toward my ministry. He showed much graciousness to our party. I expect to see him again at God’s time. One interesting thing took place in Jerusalem at the Knesset, where we visited the scale model of the temple to be built. As I stood there and looked over that model, God revealed to me that witchcraft will cause the rebuilding of the temple.

Meeting with Ezekiel Guti. A little over a week after I returned from Israel I went to visit with Ezekiel Guti. He was doing a meeting in Dallas. When I walked in they seated me about eight rows behind Ezekiel. As I looked toward the stage, there was lady speaking between two large banners. I looked up at the banner on the left; it was quoting the words of God to Moses, about how to build the tabernacle in Exodus 25:40;

And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

On the right was a banner quoting Matthew 28:18-20:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The lady speaking pointed and repeated the words that I most certainly taught in Africa, on my teaching tapes and on my programs; if God wanted the tabernacle built just like He showed Moses, then most certainly He wanted the great commission carried out just like He stated. Frankly I was relieved to see that Forward in Faith Ministries were teaching the very things that I had taught them.

At the lunch break Ezekiel and I had 45 minutes to visit. He then followed me to my car, we embraced and I drove off. I have not seen him since but I expect to when God wants it to come to pass.

The Men Walking. I went on a Daniel fast for 21 days beginning September 13th. During that time God showed me to start removing several rows of chairs from the sanctuary to make room for worship. We started by the men walking on the 26th. The women’s dancing was increased. That’s how we got where we are today; it was done because of God talking to me during that fast.

Live Stream. January 17th we began broadcasting our programs live in the Internet. We ran the live streaming in conjunction with the taping of our television programs. The live streaming went on to broadcast seven days a week.

Walter D. Jackson came on staff end of March to May.

Basil Clark left the staff in May.

Ashley Mai began working on staff.

Water of Life Ministries began broadcasting on KSNF-Springfield Missouri in November.

We closed the Mission in November.
