Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised...

 Doyle Davidson:

I want to speak directly to Jerusalem, those familiar with the Garden Tomb throughout the world, the Tomb of the Garden. Amen.

Forty-one years ago this day I was in Jerusalem, sent there by Jehovah, by my Father and my God. I was sent there for a visitation from my Father, Jehovah. Amen. I did not know why I was sent there. You can read all about it on my website, but Jehovah, the God of all flesh, nothing’s too hard for him, sent me to the Tomb of the Garden on the 16th day of June, 1974 because he wanted to talk to me there on that day. Oh I was shocked, setting under the evergreens on a bench, a warm June morning. A man from Holland was speaking, I had never heard of him, never heard of the man. And the Spirit of God moved in my heart. I knew the presence of God, but I never expected this to happen on a Sunday morning June 16, 1974 at the Tomb of the Garden. And he started talking to me and he burned, he BURNED Acts 1:8 in my heart.

Jeremiah 23:29 says God’s word is like a fire, it’s like a hammer; I’d experienced some, but not like that day.

Oh what a Saviour, oh what a Saviour. Jesus was buried in that tomb; just in front of me was that open tomb, to my right was Golgotha, Mount Calvary—and Jehovah was talking to me. Amen. My heart was on fire with the word of God. I was overpowered by God’s presence, amen. And in my heart, for one hour, were the words of Acts 1:8:

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

What a blessed day. I had never been to Israel. I had no desire to go, but God told me to give $50 to Kenneth Copeland’s ministry on a Sunday afternoon at the Tarrant County Convention Center and He’d send me to Israel. I thought, “Ok”. See I was obedient; I had already sold a veterinary hospital and practice, worth a lot of money today, (way up there). So I could hear God’s voice and I said to Pat, my wife, [we were married] June 5, 1952, [she’s] now in heaven, I said, “Do we have $50 in our check book?”

She said, “We’ve got $75.”

I said, “Write a check to Copeland for $50. God wants to send us to Israel.”

She did and the rest is history.

Oh what a God, oh how great is our God. He is a faithful God, faithful to his word. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will never leave you or forsake you. Oh what a blessing to be known by Jehovah and Jesus and to know Jehovah and Jesus. Amen, hallelujah, amen. I’m most blessed to know Jehovah and Jesus, most blessed, most happy to testify of their love, their faith, their faithfulness, their greatness. I’m most blessed to talk about Jehovah and about Jesus his Son. I am extremely blessed to be standing here on this Wednesday evening in Plano, Texas—June 16th forty-one years later. Thank God, hallelujah! June 17th, 2015, standing on holy ground; and the singers ministering "I Proclaim", [standing] on holy ground; and Terre and the Browns and Paul Peters, ministering "At Calvary", standing on holy ground. Glory.

Thank you Father, thank you Jesus. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus.
