Financial Management at Water of Life Church

Water of Life Church of Plano Inc. was chartered on November 24,1980.  We closed on the purchase of our present facility on January 4,1981 and started services that day. This property was paid for in full at the end of 1985, and the ministry has had no indebtedness since that time.  I have never told the congregation, or anyone worldwide, any money that I needed either for the ministry or for me personally.  In addition, in these 34 years I have never asked for any money from anyone.  I passed an offering plate from January 1981 to June 1996.  Then from July 1996 until the present day I have not passed an offering plate, but rather I have a treasury at the back of the church sanctuary and contributions are placed in there or mailed in to the church.  I have had as much as $40,000 costs per week for television and radio programming.  I was on 25 television stations in the U.S.from 1992 through 2007.  I also was on AM/FM radio 5 days per week in 1981 through 1987, then started on shortwave radio in 1992.  All through the years I have paid every invoice for television and radio in advance before the program aired.  I gave away my personal home located in Fairview in June 2004. Then on December 8 of that year I purchased a 2,800 square foot home in Plano for $210,000 where I now reside.  I also own a 2006 Cadillac DTS and a 2004 Tahoe.  That is all of the personal assets that I own.  My treasures are in heaven!  Jesus Christ has been Lord of my life and my ministry since 1970.
