And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17
After negotiations with the Church of Christ we purchased the building for $380,000. We paid $50,000 down, which God provided from a group of people that joined me. The monthly payments began at about $3,800 a month.
The sanctuary would seat 440 people, the Fellowship Hall, 250-300. The building had 26 classrooms.
On January 4 the ministry moved into the building. We began with a congregation of about 85 people, which included men, women and their children. It wasn’t long after the congregation dropped to 53. Some became offended in the teaching of the truth and the power of God working so the Spirit of God drove them out.
At the end of eight months a group joined us from the Church of the Resurrection led by Eddie Boltin.

Like other ministries suggested we printed 10,000 pamphlets to introduce our ministry to the area and went door to door to pass them out. It wasn’t long the Lord spoke to me, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it” (Psalm 127:1). From there on, we ended any kind of promotion and trusted God.
God spoke to me about going on radio and in October I began our radio ministry by going on 1600 AM here in Plano, ministering five days a week with a fifteen-minute program.
With all this, I continued to practice veterinary medicine.
The income for our first year was $100,000.
