Tyler, Texas

In 1982 Terry Mai and I went to a meeting in Tyler, Texas. It was a Full Gospel setting with nearly 200 pastors in attendance. The minister called the pastors up and lined them up in the front to pray for them. Terry and I went up and stood with them and as the minister moved down the line, he eventually got to us and just went right by us. As those that had been prayed for left, he called others forward. I nudged Terry in the side and leaned over and said, “Stay with me, we’re going to have some fun.”

This minister went down the line again, praying for everyone and when he got to Terry and I, he went right passed us again. We just kept standing there and eventually he had to come back to us, and when he did, he barely touched us on our faces and said, “Bless them Lord.”
